Me and Shauna arrived at the bar where me and Natasha meet. The memories start to come back and my mood drops. Shauna notices and asks, "You ok Harley?" "Ya, just got a slight headache" I say. She looks at me and decides not to push it, which I am grateful for. Everyone is already sitting around a table talking and laughing. Me and Shauna walk over and everyone says hi. I sit down in a chair and Shauna sits on my lap. We are all laughing and talking. Well Shauna and her friends were talking, I was just looking at Shauna, wondering why she would even date someone like. I mean, she was out of my league just like Natasha. Why do I keep thinking about her? It's probably cuz I'm in the bar where we first meet-wait, what is the name of this bar anyways? Both times I've been here, I've never managed to learn the name of it. I should see if I can find something with the name-I'm brought out of my thoughts when someone snaps their fingers in my face.
I blink my eyes and look at Shauna. "What" I ask clearly confused. Everyone laughs at me and Shauna rolls her eyes. Shauna says, "I asked if you could get us another round." "Sure" I say while getting up. "Thanks" Shauna says kissing me. I walk over to the bar and order the drinks. I walk back to our table after I have the drinks and see everyone gone. I just shrug, set the drinks down, and sit down. I start to become concerned after no one has returned after half an hour. I get up and start walking around looking for them. Did they forget about me and leave me here I wonder. I try to call them and no one picks up. I sigh and run my hand through my hair. I turn around to head back to our table to see if they are there yet when a bright light lands on me. What the is the only thing I can think of while I cover my eyes. I hear people cheer and then someone grabs me and starts to pull me somewhere.
The person drags me to a stage. I see a huge crowed and two mics. Oh no I think. I see the spot light land on someone else, but I'm not paying attention. "Guys, I don't sing" I say while they are leading the other person to the stage. "Guys please, this isn't my thing. I can't-" I stop mid-sentence when I see who my partner is. I am in shock. No this can't be, why me, why does the universe hate me? "Natasha" I whisper in shock. Natasha looks as equally shocked to see me and whispers, "Harley." The song begins and it is Closer by The Chainsmokers. I am trying to hold it together, but I'm freaking out inside. Natasha notices and holds my hand and intertwines our fingers. At first, I can barely be heard, as the song goes on I become more confident and get louder.
When the song ends, the crowed erupts in cheer. Me and Natasha are still holding hands. We are looking at each other. Natasha smiles and says, "I've missed you Harley, I've been looking for you everywhere." When she says that, I'm broken out of my trance. All the memories and her words come rushing back to me. I let go of her hand and start to back up slowly. "Harley, please, can we talk" Natasha begs. I end up backing off the stage. I stand up and start to run. I run straight to Shauna's house, once the door is closed I collapse on the door and start to cry. Natasha didn't run after me because she was too shocked. Why now? Why does she have to come back into my life now of all times? Why after I have finally gotten over her, straightened out my life, have a girlfriend? What game is trying to play this time?
