Four Years

Chapter 33 Natasha's Birthday Part One

Sorry for the late update, I had a bunch of work to do.

Today is Natasha's birthday. I want this to be the best and most memorable birthday she has ever had. And I think I know how I am going to do that. Elise was the mastermind behind a surprise birthday party. Elise, Stacy, Ian, Mark, Annabel, and Antonio are going to come over later and decorate. A few other friends of Natasha and Natasha's family are also going to come over. My job is to keep Natasha distracted and out of the house for a few hours for that they have time to decorate and set everything up.

I get a text from Elise that says 'Is she out of the house?' I reply 'Relax it is only nine in the morning and she is still sleeping. I'm making her breakfast and then I am going to take her shopping.' 'You, cooking, that's hilarious' Elise replies. 'Shut up, I'm just heating premade waffles up in the microwave. I'll let you know when we are gone' I reply. Once the waffles are done, I put whip cream and strawberries on top. I carry the plate to our bedroom and set it on the nightstand. I lay down next to Natasha.

I start shaking and calling her name. After a minute Natasha's eyes open and she looks over at me. She smiles. I smile and say, "Happy birthday n and n." I lean down and kiss her, "I made you breakfast." Natasha says, "I thought you couldn't cook." "I can't" I reply, "There premade waffles." Natasha giggles and begins to eat the waffles. "Once your done, get dressed" I say, "We are going to the mall." "Ok" Natasha says. Once Natasha finishes breakfast, she takes a shower and gets dressed.

I let Elise know we are leaving. I drive to the mall. Natasha drags me to who knows how many stores. She tries on a bunch of shirts and pants. I buy her whatever she decides she is going to get. We also walk around and just enjoy each other's company. After a few hours I get a text from Elise telling me that they are basically done decorating and setting everything up, so I can start heading home. I let her know we will be heading home shortly. Once we finish in the last store and I pay for everything, we leave.

I drive down the neighborhood and park at Natasha's house. "What's with all these cars" Natasha asks. "I guess the neighbors are having another party" I say getting out of the car and walking to the back. "I guess so" Natasha says. I quickly text Elise that we are home while Natasha is getting out of the car. Me and Natasha grab all the bags and walk to the door. I unlock and open it. "Surprise" everyone shouts. Natasha jumps back in surprise and then her eyes widen. Natasha looks at me. "Hey, don't look at me" I say, "I was the distractor." "Then who" Natasha asks. "Me" Elise says walking over and hugging Natasha. "Happy birthday" Elise says.

Throughout the party, people come up and wish Natasha happy birthday. Natasha introduces me to some of her friends that I haven't meet yet and her family. Natasha then drags me over to three people. An older man and women and a guy that looks about Natasha's age or a little older. "Mom, dad, Jake" Natasha says, "This is Harley, Harley these are my parents and brother." On the outside I look calm, but on the inside I am freaking out. "Hi" I say sticking out my hand, "Its nice to finally meet you."
