"Whoa~! Shanks and that girl are a thing now, huh~?" Ace proudly chimes as he reads the newspaper, Teach peaking over his commanders shoulder. And Thatch and Marco shaking their heads at the news from the distance.
"Thatch, you think pops'll agree yoi~?"
"Does he ever agree with things Red-hair does?"
"Daaaamn! She sure is gorgeous zehahaha~! What's a girl like that doin' with a guy like 'im?" Teach blurts as he stuffs his face with cherry pie. It's hard for Ace to tell if this guy is just kidding around sometimes or if he's trying to be a dick.
"Hey, Shanks saved my little brother's life so I got nothing but respect for him and I'm happy for them both~!"
"Whatever you say, Commander!"

"WHOAAA~!! SHANKS IS ON THE FRONT OF THIS PAGE SHISHISHI~!!"

"Shanks has a romance...what's that, Makino? A treasure~?!!" The young raven-haired boy asks excitedly, only causing the woman before him to giggle to herself as she nods her head.
"Yes, the best treasure of all! She's very beautiful too, he's a lucky guy~!"
Somewhere In The Grandline - Dracule Mihawk.
"I really thought that fool would die alone...she's a pretty woman. I wonder if she has an ulterior motive there..."
And finally, The Marines.
This is sick, just sick! A pirate romance?! Pirates don't feel such a thing!" A grey-haired man argues, slamming his fist into a desk repeatedly and damaging the wood in the process. "Damn Red-hair making my grandsons into criminals and now he's poisoning some young girl's mind too...damn bastard!"
"At least your grandsons didn't die trying to save a kid that turned out to be a pirate..." Sengoku mumbles, his dark eyes scanning the headline lazily before his goat snatches the paper up, confusing it for a snack. "N-No, don't--That's not food..."
"Ugh, I still really hate that bastard. Stupid grin...stupid grandsons..."
