Rays of sunshine

The floral scent of his shampoo filled my nose getting an early glimpse of summer as I rested my chin on top of his head and securing him in my arms. I placed a gentle kiss on his head before adjusting my position so that I could lay on his lap as I rested my body on the grass. I over watched him observing the soon to be clear blue sky. The sun kissed his soft golden features which created a vision of blur. However, I could see the outline of his round yet perfectly pointed nose. The curves of his rosey lips exemplify his alluring personality behind his innocence. Then sun then settled behind the boy's red head and at that sight... he was truely illuminating . The angelic aura was too strong to be denied. The glow suited him, I mentally thought to myself. When he shifted his gaze to me... I instantly melted...

Back into reality.
