The air inside the club was hot, reeking of lust, a thin cloud of smoke hanging above the dancefloor, bodies moving, grinding, sweating all over the next, pink and white strobe lights flashing across their faces as they swayed to the music. It was a packed Friday night and Liam wanted to dance.

Theo was watching Liam on the dance floor from the bar counter, grinding behind a pretty and petite girl in tight black jeans and a torn Thrasher tank top, long blonde hair, colourful tattoo sleeve and piercings in more places than he could count. Liam's hands were moving in circles around her hips as the two moved to the beat, his face buried in her neck. The tension building with each beat, the girl's grinds staying slow and rhythmic and as the bass dropped through the speakers the girl dipped her body slightly, raising her hands, her movements now faster to match the music. Liam's hands were gliding up her sides sliding over her breasts then back down, tracing over her stomach and settling back on her moving hips. The blonde smiled and turned her head toward Liam, his mouth open, pressed against her cheek, still moving to the beat.

Theo set his drink down and moved toward the pair, pushing past the crowd of hungry bodies that were grinding to the music. He slid up in front of the girl wrapping his one hand around her waist, his other hand reaching over her shoulder into Liam's neck, a wide smile spreading across the beta's face as their eyes met. The girl seemed puzzled at first but as Theo ducked his face into her neck she let her head rest back on Liam's shoulder, pushing out her cleavage which Theo happily explored with his tongue. The three of them swayed in sync to the music, her hands roamed over Theo, her ass pushing into Liam's groin. Liam never took his eyes off Theo's, his muscular arm was draped around the girl, his lips teasing her skin, and when their eyes met again they shared a yellow glow, their need for release of this tension amplified by the full moon. They looked at the girl sandwiched between them like they were ready to devour her on the spot. Theo nodded at Liam and he whispered into the girl's ear, she looked up at Theo then back at Liam and smiled. The trio headed for the door of the club, Liam slid his hand into Theo's giving it a squeeze and Theo answered with a devilish grin, both boys watching the girl's ass bounce as she walked in front of them. Liam's eye caught a tall shirtless guy flinging his head around as Theo strutted past, eyeing him from bottom to top with his jaw practically on the ground, Liam raised an angry eyebrow at the guy, darting arrows at him until he raised his hands in defence and turned around dramatically. Theo caught a whiff of the sudden smell of jealousy radiating off Liam "Really?? We're about to go bang her brains out but you're worried about him??" Theo shouted out jokingly above the music "I'll rip his head off." Liam deadpanned looking straight ahead. Really not joking. Theo felt the muscles in his groin tighten.

It wasn't just the full moon. This beta had him in a chokehold, he would give anything for this boy. And Liam would do the same for him. Together they were like a machine, in sync, in love and deadly. When Liam moved so did Theo. They were Scott's go-to duo when he needed to get shit done. They had brilliant plans for any scenario and executed them effortlessly. Scott had seen the hospital video footage of that night they fought the hunters and, well that's the reason Theo was in the pack now. Scott recognized Theo's redemption in helping Gabe that night but more than that was the look on Liam's face. He saw something in his beta's eyes that had never been there before, the look that reminded him so much of the way he used to look at Allison.
He knew from that moment on there would be no Liam without Theo, and however that came to be, however this transpired, the pack needed them together.
