Chapter 7

A few days later~~
At SME, EXO dance studio.

Exo has just finished their dance practise. They were schedule to leave China for a charity concert. They had been working and practising for 3 days straight.

Some of them lying on the floor, try to catched some breath, some drinks to cool off their body. While Chen is looking at the phone on his hands. His expression clearly shows he's worried.

"What's wrong with you?" Xiumin asked, take a seat beside him
"Huh?" Chen blankly stare at Xiumin
"Yah, you've been staring at that phone for a while. What are you thinking about?" Xiumin let a small laugh and pat Chen shoulder
"It's obviously a girl problem" baekhyun appeared out of nowhere and sitting beside Chen and jerked his head to see Chen's phone while laugh a little
"Aishh~~~"Chen can only sighed
"Told ya~~come, talk to me Chen-Chen. Master Byun here will help you" he said while stroking his invisible beard
"That is a long beard, baekhyun" Xiumin chuckled
"Yup, the prove of my wisdom" baekhyun said, earning a laughed from Chen and Xiumin.
"I'm worried about my assignment. I mean I don't think I can finished it. We had to practise dancing from 9 a.m until 7 pm at least. Then we have a vocal practise for at least an hour if our condition is good. I am dead tired after that. I don't think I can finish the report" Chen explained and sighed
"You can asked your team to cover for you" Kris suggest
" It's only the two of us, hyung. I can't make her do all the work. Plus, she did most of our findings. It'd be cruel to her" Chen reply. His eyes focus on Hani's name on his phone.
"She knows who you are, right? I'm sure she'll understand." D.O said
"Yeah, talk to her nicely. She'll fall under Chen- Chen's spell" Suho reply
"I'll call her now" Chen get up and leave the room
"I guess your beard is gone now, baekhyun" Xiumin said teasingly
"It's not a girl problem, so the beard got shaved" He wittyly reply and earned a soft smacked from D.O. He ran after Chen while Chanyeol without knowing anything follow suit.
"What's going on?" Chanyeol asked
"Jongdae is gonna call his girlfriend" baekhyun teasingly. Chanyeol eyes got big
"Am not!! Shut up. I'm going to call her" Chen snapped

Meanwhile~~~

Hani was on the way to her apartment. She was stopped at the red light.

"I'm telling you, he is just my partner for Prof. Jang class" Hani said.

She was on the phone with Sena, her bestfriend.

"But that's not oppa told me. C'mon, tell me Hani" Sena begged. Her voice filled inside Hani's car.
"Well, JJ is just overreacting. We were discussing about our project. Now, can we talk about something else? Sena? Please?" Hani said
"But there is nothing interesting to talk about other than you bring a guy to oppa's cafe. That is something, y'know" Hani can imagine the smug on her face, she groan
"For the love of God~~~~Sena, i have another call. Wait a sec" Hani immedietly received the call

The phone call conversation

Hani: Hello, this is Hani

Chen: Hi, Hani-shi. It's Jongdae.

Hani: Yes, I know it's you, Jongdae-shi. How can I help you?

Chen: Well...ahhh, how am i supposed to tell her? I already feel guilty af. These clown wants me to put on speaker mode. Aishhh....fine!

Hani: what's wrong? Do you need more material for your report? I have a few questionaire if you want to take a look at. I also borrow a few books about our topic. Do you want to read them? You know, to widen the scope. I think it'll be helpful. I can give you a few links of articles on the internet about social interaction between personality and blood types, a case study on marriage and blood types... I already...

Chen: Hani-shi~~~damn, she is excited to support me with my report. How can I do this to her? Arghhh...

Hani: oh~~~I'm sorry. Can you wait for a sec, jongdae shi?

Chen: sure...

Hani switch her call to Sena

"Sena, I got to take that call. Talk to you soon?" Hani said
"Fine. It's him, right?" She took a wild guess
"I think he need help with the report. So, bye" Hani nodded
"Yah~~~You have to tell me what happen, ok?" Sena practically screaming. Hani just laugh
"Bye, sena" Hani smile to her friend's antic

Hani: Hello? Jongdae shi? Are you there? I'm sorry. You were saying something before I cut you. Sorry about that.

Chen: no...it's fine. I want to tell you that I have to attend exo schedule on wednesday and probably it's gonna be hard for me to finished the report.

Hani: how so? Your schedule is on wednesday. You have the next day to finished the report

Chen: her voice changed...of course i expect this
Yes, of course. But i'd be super tired the next day coming from Beijing. I hate to do this, but can you do the report instead? Ahh~~~what am I saying?!

Hani: me? Do the report? This is a group project. What is the point of having a group project but one person does everything? Better called it individual project, right?

Hani: I'm sorry. Just this time, hani shi. I promise i'll make it up to you.

Hani: listen... kim jongdae shi. Its not that I don't want to do it. But it's what we call responsibility. You are busy, i am busy, everybody is busy. You're tired, i also got tired. It's a matter how you manage your time. I'm sorry, kim jongdae shi, you gonna have to find a way to solved this problem

Chen: but...

Hani: I'm sure you are smart enough how to handle this situation. I'm sorry I have to go. Good luck.

End of the conversation

"Whoa....a tough chick you got there." Baekhyun said
"She's cold" chanyeol said this time.
"She...well, she is tough. As i said before, she doesn't care who i am and treat me like i saw her treat everyone. But she's not cold, she just dissapointed and probably mad at me for giving her an excuse not to do my part of our project. I know I'd feel the same if i was her." Chen sighed and get up to go inside their studio
"You like her" Baekhyun said while hugging his shoulder. It's not a question. It's a statement.
