Chapter 24

After alot of convincing that Hani will be fine, Chen finally left.

Hani of course couldn't sleep at all. She is wide awake. She tried to watched tv, but none of the channel sparks her interest. Despite the cold winter, she decided to take a fresh air in the balcony.

"I love winter night. It's refreshing...but it's cold, tho" she said to herself, tightened her sweater

"Jongdae is really nice. Is he naturally like that or...what am I talking about? Of course he is nice to everyone." She let an awkward laughed. Deep inside, she wanted the reason Chen being nice is because of her

She let her mind drifted. She thought about the whole events that happened to her these past 2 days. The name Kim Jaehwan kept appeared in her thought. She couldn't help but to look back at her relationship with that man.

"We used to be happy, well at least I was happy...until" her mind drifted

Hani was nervous but confident at the same time. She will have a supplier meeting with Daeguk Co. Ltd. Dalbit, her father's company has become one of their supplier for Daeguk's hotel chain.

She arrived and was showed directly to the meeting room. She felt all eyes on her as soon as she arrived. A slight bow and greetings from her to another suppliers that already waiting inside.

"Good morning, Ms Kwon! So happy to see you. You look beautiful as always" Park Chulsoo, a rep from a furniture company enthusiastically welcomed her.

"Thank you, Mr.Park" Hani smiles as she took her seat

"The pleasure is mine, Ms. Kwon" He grinned.

The door suddenly opened and everyone on their feet to greet him. It's the Sales Manager also the heir from Daeguk Co. Kim Jaehwan. His gaze went directly to Hani. Hani looked at him and smile.

"Okay, if everyone is finish flirting, can we start the meeting?" Kim Jaehwan said. The others are started to sit straight and some cleared their throat. Hani can only smiles.

After an hour, the meeting is done. Hani went straight to the Sales Manager office.

"Hi...~~~" Hani greeted

"Finally~~" Kim Jaehwan approach Hani.

"You know, you shouldn't say like that at the meeting. Those poor fella" Hani said as she take a seat on the couch. Kim Jaehwan sat next to her.

"Well, they shouldn't forget that you are enggaged...to me" He took her hand and admire the enggagement ring on her finger.

"They were just being nice to me" Hani let a small laughed at the childish Jaehwan. She knew he was jealous

"Why can't you let other people attend this meeting? You know I don't like seeing you in supplier meeting when I know you'd be the only girl there." He looked at her

"From what my team has said to me that a certain someone from Daeguk sales rep wants me to attend this meeting. He doesn't want anybody else to deal with. So.....here I am. And plus, you get to see me." She smiles and wink

"Ok, you win!" He grinned. Hani laughed.

"So...lunch? Come on. Your secretary said you always skip lunch" Hani tilted her head to look at him

"Alright. Let's go. You know I couldn't do anything when you act cute like that" He slightly pinch her nose.

"I am not act cute. Aegyo is sooo not my style" Hani pouted
