Chapter 25

Hani was having a cup of latte at JJ's bakery and cafe. She went there after she met her mom for lunch at another restaurant. Her mom nagged her for dumping her date the other day. Hani let her mom vent her frustration before gave her her final words.

"Mom, I will never ever gonna except him. No matter how hard you push me into it. Not in this life and afterlife. Me and Kim Jaehwan will never be together. So, you can stop trying to put us together."

That was her statement, loud and clear. Her mom was quite taken aback by how resolute her only girl is.

"Here you go. Molten chocolate cake...and a scoop of vanilla ice cream, on the house since you don't look very good today" JJ bring her order to the table. She sat at the back of the cafe, the one where she and Chen had a breakfast when they first become partner. It's actually her favorite spot.

"Thank you, JJ" Hani smiled and shoved a spoonful of the cake inside her mouth. Instantly, she felt better and enjoy the warm and the sweetness.

"How is it?" JJ asked, amused by her reaction

"Still the best" Hani said while shoved another spoonful of ice cream

"Hope you'll feeling better. I wish Sena is here. She definitely can cheer you up"

"It's fine. Sena is important person now, she need to do a lot of things in Dalbit. I'm fine, by the way. Don't worry about me, JJ. I know she asked you to keep an eye on me but I'll assure you, I'm fine" Hani smiles

"So....it's just PMS-ing, then?" JJ grinned

"Really? Urghh~~~" Hani said in annoyance

"Haha, sorry. Enjoy your chocolate treat"

Hani received a text from Kyungsoo a week after the blind date. He was giving an update on how he was doing even though Hani prevent him to call her since she knew how busy EXO is.

He called her.

KS: noona~!

Hani: yah! Why are you calling me? I'm gonna hang up now.

Ks: wait~!!! Come on~~~ you know how hard is it for me to make a call, at least let me talk a bit longer

Hani: I know it's hard, that's why I don't really like when you call me, especially now that EXO will drop a new single soon. I am so sure you guys are busy.

KS: ahh~~hehe, tq noona. It's been a while since you nag me

Hani: Yahh~!!! What do you want, Do KyungSoo?

KS: oooh~~~you call my full name. Am I in trouble?

Hani: You are in the deepest shit if you don't tell me what do you want

KS: speaking of which, I am so hurt. By you, noona. How could you do this to me~~~

Hani: heh? What are talking about?

KS: We met your fiance earlier, at the broadcast station

Hani: what the hell are you talking about? Fiance? Nonsense~!!

KS: He look like a nice guy. I didn't know you date a chaebol. Wahh~~~it's like a drama

Hani: Stop~! I don't have a fiance. Who feed you guys this lies?
