Chapter 2: Love Ice Cream

Kuroko POV

It's lunchtime, I feel intimidated by my seatmate; she was staring at me like the whole time. I wanted to ask her but I couldn't do so. Maybe it was because of the incident awhile ago. I'm not so sure...

I went to my favorite area of my school and it's at the backside. It is where I hang out every lunchtime.  As I arrived at my destination,  I saw a girl sleeping. I went closer to her. When I finally saw her face it was... the girl who kept on staring me the whole time ( -___- ).

I woke her up, but there was no response. I grabbed her head slowly and let myself sat on the bench so that I can place her head on my lap. While waiting for her to wake up, I looked at the cherry blossoms falling down the ground.

Few minutes later, she moved and steadily opened her eyes.  Thank goodness she's alive.

When she saw me, her face was like ( O_O )

"What the what are you doing?!?!!?" She immediately stood up and fixed her composure. Why do I find her cute when she got surprised.

"I just let you sleep on my lap " I replied.

" I-- that's what I'm asking you.. Why did you let me sleep on your lap?!?!?"

"Well, I was waiting for you to wake up"

"Then why didn't you wake me up?!?"

"Well, I tried to but it didn't work" 

She freezes and looks around the surroundings while thinking of something.

"Ahh -- Anyway, why were you here and why did you sleep here??" Now, its time for me to ask questions (-___-)

"Umm, because ..... I was tired ...." 

What the what is that kind of answer  (-__-)

"Where did you find this place??" I asked again.

"My classmate ... " 

I  guess everyone knew about this place - my favorite place. I stared at her.

"Uhmm what t..." The bell rang and she wasn't able to finish her sentence. "Nevermind" she continued.

"Let's go together" When I asked her this, I noticed her face reddened.

"Hey!! Do you have an allergy?" I was worried. What if her allergy was fatal.

"What are you saying. I don't have one, why do you ask?" 

"Your face reddened" 

Her face went (  o_o )

"Let's go! We're gonna be late "

She skipped my question (-___-).  Hmm.

Momoi's POV

Kuroko and I arrived in the classroom on time. I kept on remembering his question. I totally don't have any allergies. What if it was a blush? I was blushing in front of him.?! That's so embarrassing. Maybe he doesn't know what's the meaning of it. Hopefully, he doesn't. I sat in my seat and realized that I haven't eaten yet.

"Hey, Momoi right? Do you want to skip and eat out?" He asked without any notice. Since when did we got close? I secretly smiled and try to look for answers.

"Your allergies again" he said

"What?! I told you it's not an allergy. I don't have any allergies and I believed you're mistaken" I wanna laugh, he's so adorable.

"Why your face is red then?" He asked with a confused look.

"Let's go eat?" 

"Okay?" 

I cut the conversation short since I'm so hungry and I don't want to answer his latest question. I'll cover myself with embarrassment.

It's our dismissal, I looked for Kuroko but he was with his friends. I want to be with him but we're not that close D':

I went straight out of school and saw a supermarket from across. I wanted to buy ice cream.

"Maybe next time"

Someone patted my back and I looked who was it -- It's Kuroko holding an ice cream.

" Do you want it?" He asked while giving me his other ice cream. Does he also read minds?

"S-sure " Can't waste this opportunity.

I get that ice cream; opened it, and savor its sweet taste.

"It tastes good" I smiled happily.

" Wait, where are your friends? I thought you were with them" I asked while savoring the taste of the ice cream.

" They are at the basketball court practicing for the next tournament" 

"Do you practice all the time? " 

" Not all the time" 

"Then why are  you here??" I asked with curiosity. 

" Oh, I wanted to buy ice cream and I saw a girl who kept on staring at the ice cream bar so I bought 2 instead of 1 " He smiled with kindness on his eyes.

His answer made me happy. I really like Kuroko
