Twenty five

Jennie and Lisa sat alone on the couch secretly discussing on how they were supposed to find him, they thought it was better to go home and do it so they decided to leave early

"Shoot! I almost forgot, I have plans with Yoongi this evening" Jennie groaned and scratched her head frustrated, Lisa lifted an eyebrow and slyly smirked at her

"Are you going on a date?" Lisa asked her, Jennie frowned her eyebrows and looked at her weirdly

"Date? No, he only asked me to come to his house and eat ramen" Jennie said, Lisa shook her head and lightly chuckled

"Well, you can't go. I think our mission is more important than some play date" Lisa said in a mocking voice

"Stop it, it's not a date. And you're right, where is Yoongi?" Jennie searched around the living room but didn't spot him anywhere

"He's in the kitchen" Jisoo suddenly popped up behind Jennie startling her

"Jesus, thanks. Do yo mind telling the others we're leaving early? I'll meet you outside" Jennie told Lisa who nodded

"Sure" Lisa replied, Jennie walked towards the kitchen door and opened it

"Let the best man win" She heard one of them say

"Win what?" She spoke up making Yoongi and Taehyung jump, Taehyung turned around in surprise and Yoongi just stood there frozen not knowing what to say

"W-well, you know, win at uh... singing" Taehyung answered her, sounding more like a question than an actual answer. Jennie slowly nodded confused then turned her attention toward Yoongi

"Ah, Yoongi I can't come with you this evening. I forgot that I had promised to spend the day with Lisa" Jennie told him, Yoongi nodded and Taehyung happily smiled

"Great maybe next time, see ya" Jennie waved goodbye to the both of them and walked out the kitchen, Taehyung turned towards Yoongi with a smile

"Well, looks like your chance is up" Taehyung smirked before walking out of the kitchen proudly and closing the door behind him, Yoongi lowly growled and glared at the kitchen door before smirking to himself

"Don't be so confident" Yoongi said before opening the kitchen door and walked to the living room, outside the house Lisa was waiting for Jennie. Jennie walked down the stairs and quickly rushed towards Lisa, they started to discuss while walking home

"Do you know the reason why he wanted me now and not when I was eighteen" Lisa asked her

"Why would I know that?" Jennie responded with a question

"I don't know, you said something about him saying I was legal right?" Jennie nodded

"Well, it is just really odd how he didn't want me when I actually turned legal. But two years later" Lisa brooded

"Human trafficking" Jennie answered her shortly

"What?" Lisa said confused

"Human trafficking, the one important rule his company has is that a human must be twenty or older to be allowed to buy or set up for auction" Jennie explained to her

"Looks like you knew after all" Lisa said

"It just popped in my head" Jennie said and shrugged her shoulders, they walked in silent for a minute before Lisa realised something

"How did you know that? And why did he tell you to give me to him?" Lisa asked her suspiciously, Lisa stopped walking and just stared at Jennie's back one meter in front of her

"You want the truth?" Jennie asked, she turned around facing a trembling Lisa

"Yes" Jennie took a deep breath and stared right into Lisa's brown eyes

"I used to work for him" Jennie answered truthfully, Lisa frozen in shock

"I was fifteen, My family was poor, and we could not afford much. And since I was naturally gifted in martial arts my parents made me go out and rob, one day I saw this rich man walking out from his range rover. At the time I thought it was smart to rob him, I was ready; I had my pocket knife in my hand and I remember sneaking up on him not making a sound. But somehow he sensed me he quickly turned around and knocked me on the ground, I can remember fighting him but he beat me. And then, he offered me and my family shelter, food and education for me if I worked for him. With my family in mind I said yes without any hesitation and without knowing what I was getting myself into. He trained me and totally brain washed me to believe that love was worthless. While I worked for him I earned the nickname Icy Vixen, I would kill without mercy, I moved around like a fox and I always wore one of those kitsune mask. No one knew who I was and I didn't care about anyone not even my own parents, I killed them Lisa. I killed my own parents because he said they was holding me back from achieving greatness" Tears started to slip down Jennie's eyes and a clump was stuck in her throat, Jennie calmed down and looked at Lisa through her tears

"But then I met you, Jisoo and Rosé, my world turned upside down. I learned how to love again, I learned what friendship was. One day, when we was out eating ice cream. He saw you, he thought you were the perfect girl for this one man he had as a client. He tried to talk me into luring you to his building, but I refused. That night I ran away from that awful place, and today he found me" Jennie stopped talking and continued staring at her own feet, waiting anxiously for Lisa's answer.

Jennie could see Lisa walking closer to her and prepared herself to be punched or slapped, but in her surprise Lisa pulled her into a tight hug instead. Without knowing Jennie wrapped her arms around Lisa and started crying on her shoulder

"It's okay Jennie, he brainwashed you. And you didn't know better, you were fifteen and poor" Lisa said calmingly

"I'm sorry" Jennie apologized through her tears

"Nothing to apologize about Jendukie" Lisa loosened the hug and smiled down at Jennie, Lisa wiped Jennie's wet face with her sleeve

"Now, let's go home. Drink hot chocolate, sit in front of the fireplace and plan out how to kill that rat" Lisa joyfully said trying cheer up Jennie, Jennie lightly chuckled and smiled

"Let's go kill that rat"

"That's the spirit!" Lisa exclaimed and threw an arm around Jennie's shoulders, but some meters behind them. Hiding behind a tree, there was a man looking at them

"Did you find her" The voice asked

"I found them"
