Thirty Four

They stared at the two of them in suspense, was Jennie really going to shoot him? Jennie stood with her arm reached out for a good five minutes before she sighed and let her arm down to her side, she rubbed her head in frustration before letting out another heavy sight

"What the hell am I doing?" She mumbled while rubbing her temples with her left hand, she was conflicted. If she doesn't kill them then her boss would be enraged and kill her and Lisa instead, but if she does kill them their friends might kill her. So either way, she will end up dead

"That was a wise choice" Jennie hear Jin say, she glanced up at him and noticed the gun he had hid behind his back. She let out an amused laughter

"Sneaky" She smirked at him and he smiled back cockily

"But, if we don't kill them then what will we do? He expects us to be back in four weeks" Lisa spoke, they went mute for a solid ten minutes before Taehyung cleared his throat breaking the silence

"We- Well, we could just kill him" his suggestion sounded more like a question, Jennie's eyes widened and she had a hard time holding in her laughter

"Are you serious? He has a whole company filled with men and women who wants to risk their lives to protect him, and all we have is seven boys which three out of seven actually are pretty helpful, Jisoo and Rosé don't know anything expect firing a gun which is useless if you can't protect yourself too. Jimin and Taehyung just stands in the back watching and begging, Jungkook jumps into action before he thinks and Jin has serious trust issues and judge people to fast, that's what I call a dream team huh?" Jennie ranted, she was right though. They glanced at each other not knowing what to say

"We have four weeks, we can train them" Hoseok suggested, Lisa sighed and lightly shook her head

"Four weeks aren't enough, people at his company have at least ten years of training. Damn it I'm still a trainee at his company and it's been three years! If we want to achieve anything we have to train day and night and I doubt they actually want to" Lisa commented, she stared at the group in front of her. They were all avoiding eye contact while rubbing either their arm, neck or hand in nervousness

"And they're not even involved in this, only Yoongi, Hoseok, Namjoon, Lisa and me. So basically they don't have to do anything, not like they can" Jennie rolled her eyes, her friends were hurt by her rude remarks. But they didn't say anything because all she was telling them were the truth

"Stop underestimating us and give us a chance damn it!" Rosé shouted out in frustration, she knew they had potential and could achieve so much if they just gave them a chance

"I'm not underestimating you, I'm just stating the facts! Four weeks of training won't do anything but learning a few kicks and punches, you still have to learn how to properly fight, defend and dodge your opponents attacks. You have to learn how to search for weaknesses and calculate how to successfully knock your opponents out or a way to escape in matter of seconds! We still have to test your agility, stamina, strength, stealth, courage and tactics. You also have to be used to bearing a few weapons on your body and you also have to learn parkour if anything happens and you have to make a risky jump, do you think you can do all that and more in four weeks?" Jennie asked them in a powerful voice, her inner leader clearly stepping forward. No one answered, Jennie sighed in annoyance

"Than I suggest that you won't interfere, if you think you can't do all that don't come but if you do you better prepare yourself for a few weeks of hell. You have three hours from now to choose and choose wisely, if your body can't handle it you can't. I'll be waiting outside with Yoongi, Namjoon and Hoseok. Lisa will be in here for you to ask questions since she has and still undergo training so she has more experience of what it feels like, I haven't had training for over ten years so Lisa is more helpful" Is all Jennie said before she walked out to the balcony and made herself comfortable on the big couch outside, the three boys followed her while Lisa stayed

"You have three hours, and I would suggest that you drop this if you're not ready for hell" Lisa advised, she walks towards the couch and sat down with her legs crossed. She fixed the pouch around her mid thigh and sight, she wonders if any of them would like to help them. Everything Jennie ranted about earlier was true, not even one of them were helpful. Lisa glanced at them, they all had a very worried look on their faces. Her eyes met with Jungkook and he immediately looked away, she sighed again. How is he supposed to do anything if he can't even meet her eyes? She was really beginning to feel doubtful

She crossed her legs to the other side out in stress, her boss expects them to be back in four weeks with the body of Yoongi, Namjoon and Hoseok. All her memories were finally back and she was happy yet she was feeling so sad, the memory of her and Jennie being recruited flashed back to her mind. She remembers seeing Yoongi's head peeking through an abandoned house, she pleaded with help from her eyes but he just shook his head and mouthed sorry. She was devastated when she was in the car and they drove off, she wondered if she should tell Jennie but decided not to. It would just create more stress

Approximately two hours have gone by and the house was quieter than ever, the atmosphere was drowsy and heavy and the people inside were even worse. Lisa played on her phone while occasionally glancing up to look at Jungkook, Taehyung stared out the window looking at Jennie. His heart clenched when he saw her talking to Yoongi

The comment she made about him still lingered in his head Taehyung just stands at the back watching or begging. Was he that useless?

Now that he thinks about it, he hasn't done much. He sighed heavily, he scratched the back of his neck in frustration when he suddenly stands up from the floor like lighting startling the people around him. He walks out to the balcony from the broken window and straight towards Jennie, she glances up at him with a questionable face expression

"Yeah?" She asked him, he took a deep breath before meeting her eyes once again

"Listen, I may not be the fastest, strongest or smartest. But I am willing to help, I want to do everything I can to get you and Lisa back to us because you guys mean so much to everyone especially to Jisoo and Rosé. And I-" he stopped for a second and stared at her intensely, Jennie could feel her heart beating faster for some unknown reason. His eyes stared directly in her eyes, and she loved it

"And I don't want to lose you either, you mean the world to me even though we lost three years. I want to gain those years back by helping you, so please. Train me, I don't care if my body will ache like hell after all of this. All I want is to help and get you back" He told her, he stared at Jennie nervously. Her face was like stone and he couldn't read her emotions at all, she slowly stands up and walked towards him and they stood like that for a few seconds. Just a meter between the two, but Jennie quickly closed that gap by a hug which took Taehyung off guard and he almost fell with Jennie on top of him. But he gained his balance back and hugged her back tightly

The others were looking at them in shock, what the hell just happened? Jennie noticed what she was doing and like lighting pulled herself away from the hug, she stared at Taehyung before quickly looking down on the ground embarrassed, this was all new to her. The beating heart, the flush to her cheeks, the need to hug him even more and feel his touch. She cleared her throat and gazed over to the other's

"So?" She asked them, they glanced at each other before nodding their heads

"We're in!" Jisoo shouted out in excitement, Lisa walked out towards Jennie and turned around facing the others. Yoongi, Hoseok and Namjoon trotted towards the two girls

"Be prepared, because tomorrow will be like hell for you guys" Lisa commented and smirked, she didn't know how much they would achieve but she was happy they agreed to help. Lisa glanced over at Jennie and her eyes were sparkling out of excitement which made Lisa happy

"Forget tomorrow, let's begin now" Yoongi responded to Lisa, he smiled evilly at the people in front of him who stared back frightened by his smile

"Ready for hell?"
