Chapter Eight

Looking between Amon and Mado, I start to get worried. "Um I would appreciate if y'all stop staring please.  Its getting weird" I said squirming in my seat slightly. Amon just stares until he straightens back up and has the look of realization as he literally runs out of the room. Mado just stares with a clenched jaw as he is deep in thought. "The Fuck is going on with y'all? " I ask as I stand up. Walking to the door I realize Amon came back already and has a stack of papers in his hands. "Ellie would you come with me please ?" Amon asks while walking to his office and sits at his desk. Looking at the papers he had in his hands I realize its about my brother or The Beast as they call him and The Beauté? Wait why me? Amon looked at me and motioned for me to sit down in the car next to his desk. "Mind telling me whats going on, cause I'm confused" I said look at him as he started looking from my file to my brothers. "Yes. That story you told us is half right, and I think I know what the wrong parts are. Now I'm going to ask a few questions and you will answer them correctly.  Now first question, who was the investigators who killed you and your brothers parents?" he asked me with a dead serious face.  "Mado and his last partner" I said looking him straight in the eyes. "Ok next question, what is your real last name?" he asked, which caused my eyes to widen. "Its Holmes. My name is Ellie jasmine Holmes." I said looking down. I heard him take a deep breath and put a finger under my chin to raise my face up to him. "Alright. Now to the harder questions. If I look in the data base right now and search Holmes, will I find your parents in the human or ghoul documents?" he asked while pointing to his computer. "Both" I say lowly but I know he heard me by the way his breath hitched. "And why would it be both Ellie?" he asked while gripping the arm of his chair tightly. "Because my mother was ghoul but my father was human. So I'm basically half of both. If I had to pick, I wouldn't know which one it would be. It would be my brother and best friend or CCG and learn what I couldn't learn back home" I said getting ready to either fight or flight. "I won't make you choose but tell me this which ghouls are you?" he asked looking at me in awe still. "I am The Beauté, my best friend is The Ange, and my brother is The Beast. So either way I would be protected from ghouls and the CCG." I say looking Amon in the eyes. "Wait your the one who stole that female ghoul from us then" he says then a blush covers his cheeks. "Yes that was my best friend and I didn't want my brother to find out to because that would be hell.  And why are you blushing for, are you sick?" I ask squinting my eyes at him as he coughs. "No its just that night you called me cute and kissed my cheek" he says shyly to which I burst out laughing at.
