3 am
The kids are asleep and I'm the only on awake.
Dr. miss could I get you anything?
K. no thank you
The Dr walks away
I get up and walk into Jared's room sitting next to him taking his hand in mine.
K. Hey Jared. The doctors told me a while ago you where in a coma. It's horrible. I know you could hear me. But it's hard.
Tears darted to fall down my cheeks
K. please stay with me Jared. I need you more than Anyone.
I brought his hand up and kissed the back of his hand
K. Please be ok Jared
I didn't notice my dad walk in
Z. baby girl
K. dad
I stood up and hugged him
Z. shh it's alright.
K. they said he's in a coma
Z. I know baby girl it's alright
I sobbed into his chest fisting his shirt as he stroked my hair hugging me tight he led me outside where liam took me
Li. let's take you to get cleaned up
He led me down the hall and too a car were he drove to my house
I opened the front door and walked up stairs to my room
Li. take a shower and change I'll make breakfast for you and the others
I took a shower and changed going back downstairs to see Liam putting food in bags for the others.
Li. it will be ok kels. You know that right
K. I guess
He walks over and hugs me
Li. you have us. He will be ok.
K. thanks uncle liam
Li. hey it's what I'm for. They don't call me daddy direction for nothing.
K. that's true
He at least got a smile on my face
We left the house and went back to the hospital giving everyone their food
Dr. are you all here for Jared Clark
K. ya
The doctor had just walked in
Dr. are you Kelsey Malik
K. yes
Dr. may I talk to you
I walked with him into the other room
Dr. ms. Malik Jared is in a coma but we realize he can hear you and move his hands a bit but we need you to sign some papers.
K. can't his father I'm only his girlfriend
Dr. but your in his emergency information
K. alright
Dr. here. You can turn them in at the front desk
K. ok
And I walked back in to the other room and sat at a table next to my dad
Z. what's that
K. I was on Jared's emergency cards so because his dad is an ass and doesn't care and Jared being an idiot I'm the only one on his emergency cars so I have to sign papers for medical things lucky me I know everything about him. So this should be easy
I said that while flipping my pen everywhere
Z. alright. And watch that pen you could poke someone's eye out
K. right
I finished up with the papers and turned them in at the front desk.
N. Ms. you left this one blank
It was the one question Jared never gave me an answer to. If he had any surgery before
K. he never gave that answer to me I wouldn't know
N. alright ms.
I walked away and sat down
It was 7 am by that time
C. kels we still haven't practiced and we have battle of the bands coming up
K. uh right I'll take you home come on
Me as all the kids got up
Z. where are you going
K. the boys have to practice for battle of the bands that's coming up soon

I took all the kids home and left them because they were 13 and 14 so it would be fine. Driving back to the hospital I found myself thinking back to what Jared always did for me. I turned my car around and drove to his house
I knocked on the front door and their butler opened it
B. oh Kelsey Jared isn't home
K. ya I know. wait you don't know where he is
B. um no we thought he was with you ms.
K. he's in the hospital in a coma I came to get Kevin
B. Kevin!
Jared's little brother Kevin came down the stairs he's about 14

K. I'll be taking him
B. oh yes ms. you'll be going with Kelsey Kevin

He walks to my car with me and we drive of to the hospital

K. Jared was in an accident and he's In a coma I thought you needed to see him.
We got to the hospital and took Kevin to his room and we walked in
Ke. oh my gosh
I could see tears going down his cheeks
K. Kevin it will be ok
Ke. you don't know that

I started to cry again. This time the beeping on the heart monitor got faster and a munch of people came in pushing us out

Z. what happen
K. I don't know
Z. come on you two
He guided us to the other room and we sat down.
It was going to be a long day
