Todoroki P.O.V.
Todoroki just as he planned, ran out of the school building as soon as everything was wrapped up with All Might after training. On his way out, he passed by Katsuki who looked a little lost in his emotions in his mind. But paying him no mind as he really didn't care about Bakugo, Todoroki just zoomed past the boy and out the doors.
Exiting the building in a run and zooming down the streets, he started to feel panicky a little. 'Why do I feel so uneasy about this...like something terrible is happening or is about to happen.' (A/N: that my friends is dramatic irony. ok sorry sorry, continuing.)
Heading in the direction of what he remembered to be Midoriya's home, he was met with an obstacle. A small crowd of people were standing in a small circle around something. They were whispering amongst themselves in a frightened tone. 'What's going on?' Though he was in a hurry to get to Midoriya's home, he couldn't resist looking at what all the commotion was about. The hero in him wouldn't let him ignore this and keep walking.
He slowed his run to a light job as he neared the crowd. As he peered over the people's shoulders, he froze in place. All the color from his face had drained and his wide eyes could not stop taking in the sight before him. All that filled his vision was the color red.
Blood was splattered all across the ground and nearby wall as if someone had accidentally tripped while holding a can of red paint and spilled it's contents all over. And laying in the middle of it all, was Midoriya's school bag. His notebook and school things laying scattered around as they too started turning red.
(A/N: let me explain just a little real quick. So the reason that Todoroki found that spot so easily while heading to Midoriya's home is because in Izuku's panic to get home and then because he ran into Shigaraki, he didn't realize his bearings and was actually closer to his home than he really realized. That's why Todoroki could find him along this path. Just in case any of you were like wtf, why does Todoroki have a gps in him that tells him to go exactly to this point and so on)
Katsuki P.O.V.
"What the fuck is all this?" Katsuki grumbled unhappily to himself as he neared the same crowd that Todoroki had encountered earlier. but it was a lot more crowded than earlier. Someone had called the police and they in turn had taped off the area which actually caused the crowd to grow bigger.
Katsuki had no time for this and kept walking. He wasn't in the mood. First fucking Deku pissed him off and twice in a row at that, and then Todoroki had run by him as if he was nothing more than part of the wall. That also really pissed him off. So he had trudged back home with his hands shoved inside his pickets until he arrived to where he is now.
'Whatever, I don't give a fuck. It doesn't have anything to do with me so why should I care.'
That's what he told himself but then he saw Todoroki slowly walking away from talking to one of the police with a grave look on his face.
Katsuki, confused at why Todoroki was here, called out to him. "Oi! Half-ass! What the fuck is going on here?"
Todoroki just glared back and replied with an emotionless tone, "Midoriya's dead."
"Haah!?" What did you just say!?" Katsuki grabbed Todoroki by the collar of his shirt and slammed his back against the nearby building wall. "Don't fuck with me half-ass!"
Todoroki had made no move of resistance. Shadows covered his eyes as he repeated once ore in the same tone, though a little bit of anger leaking into his words, "I said...that Izuku Midoriya is dead! Why the hell would I like about this! He's gone! And there's nothing we can do about it..." Todoroki had started shouting but sounded tired by the end of his 'speech' like all his strength had left with those words.
