(Y/n) P.O.V

I sat in a taxi, tired and lost in my thoughts. I was being driven to town to pick up some food items. I watched the birds fly up and down as I  drove by. "Damn it!" I was broken out of my thoughts and jumped slightly in my seat. "Whats wrong?" I asked. "Eh, I just hit one of those stupid birds thats all. One less we have to worry about." The taxi driver replied. "Pull over." I said. "You ain't gonna help that thing are you?" he asked. "Pull over!" I snapped. The driver finally pulled over and I jumped out of the car to the hit raven. I loved these birds while other people hated them. I picked it up and cradled it in my arms. 'You poor thing.' I thought. I jumped in to the taxi and said, "Take me home!" The driver glanced at you through the mirror. "You're really going to try to save it!? It's probably going to be dead by the time you get home." He said. "I'm still going to try."

Time Skip to your Apartment

I got out of the car and threw the few dollors I had left for food at him. "This ain't enough!" He yelled. "You're the one who hit the raven and caused all this to happen! So you put this on your self!" I yelled back. The taxi driver grunted and drove off. I ran upstairs to my apartment which was small and only had a few rooms, a kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. I had almost no money, but I did what I could with it. 'Of course that idiot had to make me nearly broke now.' I thought. I unlocked the door and walked in. "Meow, mrrow!" Your cat chattered. "No Lucifer, this isn't for you." I said. He still continued his chirps and chattering. I did everything to keep this cat healthy and I would give my life to him. This cat saved me from my suicidal attemps which no longer happen. I went into the bathroom and closed the door behind me. I pulled out the items I was going to need and scattered everything across the floor. I had the raven in my lap as I worked on it. It had a broken wing, a spranged ankle, and some gashes. I did what you could for it. I was able to borrow a birdcage from my neighbors, so the raven could rest in it. I gentley placed the raven in the cage and put some water and food ,that I thought was edible for a bird, in it. As I left, the bird seemed to be looking at me in a strange way, but I just asumed it was a coincidence. I left the raven in the bathroom and closed the door, so Lucifer couldn't get in. I flung myself onto the bed and slowly fell asleep.

Raven P.O.V

'Who was she?' I thought. 'Why did she help me?' I wandered. 'Would she be able to understand me from this form?' "Hello?" was all I could say. I waited a few minutes, but nothing happened. 'I should've known she wouldn't understand me. I want to speak to her though.... I know what I have to do.'
