Soulmates

Josh watched as couples walked into the cafe. Today was Valentine's Day. But unfortunately, his world was still black and white. Order after order. Customer after customer. His day only got more tiring. His shift was near ending. As he prepared to go home, his vision became blurry, colours started to become more vivid, and the world seemed so much more brighter. He knew his soulmate was near by. But finding your soulmate is like playing hot and cold. Josh followed his sense of colour around the cafe, nothing. He stepped outside, admiring all of the colours. But his vision slowly faded back to dark and blandness. He ran down the street, and he could see colours again, but not as strong as before. He slowed his pace when the world around him seemed clear. And as the world came back into focus, he spotted his soulmate, staring directly back at him. And now he finally realized why this was his soulmate. It was crystal clear.
