Chapter 3

*Maddy's POV*

I woke up to the sound of Rosie yelling my name, and her long blond hair whips my face as she towers over me.

"Maddy! We're here!" I open my eyes to see that we have landed in New York. I guess I fell asleep. It looked like almost everyone was off the plane except for me and Rosie.

"Really?! Let's go!" I was wide awake now. We got off the plane, got our bags, and headed towards the man with a sign that had Rosie and I's last names on it.

"Ms. Jackson?" I nod my head.

"Ms. Taylor?"

"Yep!" Rosie says. We walk to the car and start driving to the hotel. Outside of the car I see huge buildings and a tons of people walking around.

We are staying at the four seasons hotel, thanks to my mom and Rosie's mom. They helped pay for it. We got out of the car and saw how beautiful the hotel was. We went to the front desk and asked for our rooms keys.

"You are both is room 1034. Enjoy your stay." Said the lady with a smile. We took our room keys, and went in the elevator. Our room was on the top floor! Rosie unlocked the door and our mouths nearly dropped open.

"Oh. My. God." We said in unison. This was probably the best hotel room you could ever stay at. It was mainly glass all around, with the curtains open at the time, so we had the most incredible view of New York. There were two huge beds and bathrooms. Now I don't have to share a bathroom with Rosie, thank God. She takes forever to get ready in the mornings. There was also one little space with a couch and a TV. This room was a fricken house.

"Look at this place!" I hear Rosie yell from the beds.

"I know, it's crazy." I walk into the bedroom to see that she has already unpacked her stuff and is laying on one of the beds.

"Hey, just because you got in here first doesn't mean you get to choose which bed you want." I said.

"Fine, you want this one?" She responds pointing to the one she is laying on.

"No, I want the other one... Just trying to prove a point here." She just laughs. I start unpacking my clothes, and then set up my bathroom. I haven't eaten since 7:00 back at home, so I wanted to get something to eat.

"Hey Rosie?" I say from the bathroom.

"Yeah?"

"I saw a small café right across the street from the hotel on our way here, so I'm going to get something to eat. Are you coming?"

"Nah I'm going to stay here."

"Ok want me to bring you something back?"

"Sure. Anything is fine."

"Alright I'll be back in about an hour. Bye!" I grab my phone and some money, and head out the door. I just planned on walking there since it was right outside of the hotel.

I got on the elevator, and pressed the bottom floor. Once the doors opened to the lobby, I started walking towards the door, but then I accidentally dropped the $50 I had in my hand. I bent down to grab it, and when I tried to stand up, I ran straight into someone.

"Oh my god. I am so sor- " I cut myself off when I realized who it was.
