Chapter 9

*Nash's POV*

When I saw Maddy my jaw almost dropped. She looked so hot. I'm not letting Matt get her. That's not gonna happen.

*Maddy's POV*

When we got closer to wherever we were going, Nash told me to close my eyes.

"Ok we're almost there close your eyes."

"Is this really necessary?" I complained.

"Yes! Now close them and don't peek!" So that I didn't have to argue anymore, I just closed my eyes. All of a sudden, I felt us stop.

"Hang on. Don't open your eyes." I heard Nash say. I could hear the car door open, and then I felt his hands grabbing me to lead me.

"I'm afraid I'm gonna fall."

"Just trust me." Nash said. Then I relaxed. We walked for about 20 seconds. Then he stopped walking.

"Okay, you can open your eyes." as soon as he said those words, I opened them. Right in front of me I saw a blanket laid on the ground, along with a basket, apple cider bottles, a vase of flowers and two pillows. I gasped.

"Do you like it?" Nash asked me.

"Are you kidding?! I love it! C'mon let's sit down!" I said. I grabbed his hand and we walked over to the blanket. It was the perfect date in my eyes. I never thought Nash was the type of guy that would go through this for a date. We talked, laughed, and ate delicious food for 2 hours. Then we laid down on the blanket next to each other with the pillows behind our heads looking at the sky. I felt Nash's hand on top of mine so I held it in my grasp. I felt butterflies in my stomach. I'm holding hands with THE Nash Grier.

"Hey Maddy?" Nash turned his head towards me. I turned mine so I was facing him.

"Yeah?" I smiled.

"I know I only met you yesterday, but.... I just think you are one of the most amazing girls ever. You have an amazing personality, you're funny, sweet, beautiful, I could go on forever." At that point I was speechless.

"I just needed to get that out. Sorry." He continued.

"Sorry? That's the sweetest thing anyone has ever said to me. No ones ever told me that before." I looked away and was brought back to the memories. I didn't want to bore Nash with the details so I just put on a fake smile like I usually do.

"Let's go back to the hotel and hang out for a little bit." I suggested. I didn't just say that so we could get out of the heat, but I also, kinda, sorta wanted to see Matt. For some reason, I missed him a lot.

"Okay that sounds good." We packed up all the stuff and walked to Nash's car. We drove back to the hotel and went up to Nash's room, which had all the boys in it.

"Shoot. I forgot the key." Nash said. He knocked on the door and Matt opened it. He saw Nash first, then he saw me. Holding hands. In front of Matt.

"Oh uh... Um. I- I mean uh... Hi." Matt was speechless. I could tell he was hurt. Nothing is going on between me and Nash yet. Yes, I like him a lot but I really like Matt too. Nash looked at Matt and smirked. Was he trying to get him mad? I'm was so confused. Anyway, we walked in and Matt closed the door. I let go of Nash's hand gently before the guys could notice so that it doesn't send any false signals.

"Where were you guys?" Taylor asked.

"We we're on a d- "

"We had a picnic in the park." I interrupted Nash. I knew he was about to say date and I really didn't want him to say that. We were just friends for now. The whole room got quiet. Cameron had a really confused look on his face.

"Ooookay... Um all of the guys are going out to dinner tonight at a really fancy restaurant. We wanted you and Rosie to come. We already asked Rosie and she's coming. You?" Taylor asked.

"Um sure. Thank you for inviting me." I gave a polite smile. Rosie looked at me. I feel like I haven't seen her in forever.

"I think we're gonna go back to our room to get ready." Rosie said.

"Alright well remember to dress nice and meet us in the lobby at 8." Taylor added.

"Okay we'll see you guys soon." Rosie and I walked out of their room and headed up to ours. When we got into our room, Rosie started with questions.

"What was that about?" She asked.

"What?" I tried to play dumb.

"Back in the hotel room. You totally interrupted Nash like you didn't want him to say something." I sighed.

"Look. Like I told you, I like Nash. But, I also like Matt. When he opened the door to see us holding hands he- "

"Wait. Hold up. You were holding hands?!" Rosie squealed.

"Yes, but besides that, when Matt saw us, he seemed really hurt. I didn't want to send any false signals so I let go if his hand before anyone else could see. I still like Matt too. It's not like he doesn't exist when I'm with Nash."

"You know what, you're right. Nash and Matt would both be lucky to have you."

"Thank you Rosie." I smiled.

"I mean Matt's gonna ask you on a date so- " Rosie stopped herself.

"Wait. Hold up. Matt is gonna ask me out on a date?" I asked. I can tell she didn't mean to say that.

"No! No. I mean, well uh... I- I guess there really isn't a way out of that one. But, yes he is. He was telling us while you were gone how excited he was to ask you." I had the biggest smile on my face and I looked like a a totally dork.

"He might not ask you now though. I mean he probably thinks you and Nash are together." Rosie said. No! Nash and I are not dating! Matt needs to know that.

"Well I'm gonna make it so Matt understands we are NOT dating." I said.

"Well let's start getting ready for tonight's dinner and maybe you can tell him then." Rosie explained.

"Okay. Wanna go shopping for dresses?" I suggested.

"Yes!!!" She screamed. I just laughed and we head out the door to go shopping.

GAH. Okay I FINALLY finished this chapter! I just had no idea what I was gonna do. So, I just made a little update thing. It's supposed to be a story but I just wanted to let you guys know what's going on with my stories and stuff. PLEASE READ MY UPDATE STORY. I want you guys to know what's going on and that I'm starting another little story. It will explain everything there. I really want you guys to read it cause I will delete it soon. But yeah!
