Chapter 5

*Maddy's POV*

Once I realized that I bumped into Matthew Espinosa I started freaking out... On the inside. I didn't want him to think I was some sort of crazed fan, so I just calmed my self down. He was so cute though. And when he said I was stunning, I was literally about to faint. He asked me if I wanted company at the café so of course I said yes. We got there and he opened the door for me and we sat down at a table.

"So are you staying in that hotel across the street?" He asked.

"Yep, are you?"

"Yeah! You should come to the room and meet some of the guys later tonight." I almost choked on my drink.

"Wait, are you serious?" I said in shock. That would mean I could meet Nash Grier. Don't get me wrong, I am overwhelmed to be eating with Matthew but I was most excited to see Nash.

"Totally. They would love to meet you."

"Is it alright if my friend Rosie tags along? She's really cool.

"Of course." He said smiling. I can't believe this is happening. Our first day here and I am already going to meet my idols.

"So how long are you staying here for?" I asked.

"Pretty much as long as we want. We were planning on staying the whole summer."

"That's the plan for me and my friend too." We kept conversation going and ordered our food. I felt like the longer I talked to him, the more I liked him. He was so sweet and funny. I know I said I was excited to meet Nash the most, but I'm kind of glad I bumped into Matt. We finished eating, and because he was so generous, he insisted on paying for the food. I grabbed the sandwich I got for Rosie and we walked back to the hotel. We got in the lobby and stepped onto the elevator.

"Is it alright if I ask you for your number?" It was so cute, he was really nervous to ask me.

"Sure." I said smiling. I finished giving him my number by the time the elevator opened. He walked me to my room.

"I'm gonna head down to my room, but I'll text you when you can come over. Our room number is 1013." He said.

"Okay. I'll see you soon." He kissed me on the cheek.

"Bye." He smiled and walked away. Oh my god. That was one of the best times of my life. I walked in my room with the biggest smile on my face.

"Why so happy?" Rosie asked. She was just sitting on the couch watching TV. I threw the sandwich at her

"Well I met a guy..." I trailed off. Rosie over exaggerates so if I made it a huge deal, she would freak.

"You met a guy!? Is he cute? What's his name? I'm so happy for you!" See what I mean? I just laughed.

"Yes I did. His name is Matthew." Just the thought if him makes me smile. Her head shot up so fast she could've broke her neck. She stood up and walked over to me.

"Wait. Do you mean..." I knew she was thinking of Matt Espinosa so I nodded my head. Her eyes went wide, and her mouth dropped open.

"OH. MY. GOD. What?! Where!?" At this point she had grabbed my shoulders and was shaking me back and forth. I laughed and gently took her hands off my shoulders. I explained to her everything from bumping into him, to him kissing me on the cheek. She kept "awing" and saying we were so cute.

"And we have plans tonight." I said referring to meeting the guys.

"What do you mean?"
