Even if she's gone, nothing will change
Those are the kinds of things that normally runs in the pits of a certain tealette's mind. It was all true even so.
She doesn't find her worth in this world. It's not like she was good at anything. It's not like she can contribute anything to this world. This disgusting world.
Miku was aware, she was negative. But she doesn't care. Being positive all the time isn't a good thing. Being positive only ends up to getting hurt. Expecting things only leads to you having your heart crushed.
She had friends. Many friends. But no one lasted. Miku was too negative so no one can handle her, really. One time, some of her friends told her that they will change her.
Miku expected... that these friends might really make her optimistic in life. But they gave up on her later on.
She didn't complain though, she was just disappointed. That's what she normally gets after expecting. We all have a life to live. And sometimes, helping someone can be just a waste of time.
We all have problems to deal with. So helping out with other's problems can just add up. And we simply don't want any more problems do we?
Miku understands it all. Not everyone will always stay with you. People leave. People gets sick. Same old cycle going through in everyone's life.
People come and go.
A long and heavy sigh. Miku was inside an SUV and was now on the front passenger seat. She had a contempt look as she shot a gaze at the pink haired woman beside her.
Megurine Luka was her first personal counselor. She was friends with Miku's mother though the pinkette was only two years older than the teen. At first, Miku disagreed with dealing with a counselor because obviously, nothing will change at the end of the tunnel; she'll remain as negative as ever.
All counselors' intention is to help. But obviously, there should be something in exchanged. "You're doing this for the money right?"
Luka chuckled. "I should probably stop myself from being surprised to hear such words come from a pessimistic person"
Miku rolled her eyes and rested her head on the dashboard, still facing the older.
"I'm not. You need help and I can help you" A sweet smile bloomed as her expression.
Such outdated statements, Miku thought. She heard those words countless times.
"Are you depressed Miku?"
That word was like one of her friends inside her head, and more specifically, her buddy in times she fails. "Depression made me negative"
Stopping on red light, Luka stated. "Everything can be fixed"
Not really everything. Some things just stays the way they are, no matter how much you try to alter it. I guess fate had it this way. Miku pursed her lips as she had this thought. She wanted to say it to the woman before her. But then again, Luka might not still be ready to hear her out. And what's the point of telling her anyway?
"Do you want to change Miku?"
That question. That was one of her weaknesses. Of course she wants to change. But no matter how hard she tries to help herself, it always ends up being into square one - being negative again. A sheepish nod as she turned away from Luka and looked at the cars passing by.
"I can fix you"
And those words were the ones she hates. Because it makes her expect that she really can be helped. "You can't"
"I can try" Luka halted the car.
"I really will fix you Miku Hatsune"
