I'm not sure if this is good...———————————
Cold water brushes through my lips as I endlessly stroke my arms in circle, fighting against the heavy weight of the water. My heartbeat races as well as the speed of my feet. Numerous white tiles glued the gaze of my emerald coloured pools. Not good. Why am I thinking about her right now?
I couldn't stop. At this moment, all I know was that I can't seem to feel the water. My body felt so hefty and hot as well as the blood running underneath my skin. I picked up the pace and shifted my head to the right slightly off the water, taking a deep breath. Tightly, I shut my eyes off and kicked the water more roughly.
"Miku!"
I hear my coach calling out my name. I wasn't sure whether to act like I wasn't hearing anything and just feign ignorance or to halt myself to check up on him. Then again, it was better than getting lectured at. My movements took a pause and I instantly poke my head out of the water, gently taking off my goggles after as I gape at him.
"Stop venting your anger at the water" He deadpanned before returning his attention back to my P.E teacher. He was obviously mad at me. Even so, I couldn't bring myself to care right now.
I was about to wear my goggles back when out of the blue, someone pulled me into the water by the hem of my black and blue rash guard. I was not completely off guard though; so I was able to respond to the action without much further ceremony. I pressed my foot against the white tile and began working my legs for a safer balance of my body. A strand of light pink tresses entered my view. "Aria..." I exhaled as I helped her gain back her composure. "What are you doing?"
IA, among us five girls in the class was the one who had the hardest time in swimming. It was mainly because she had a massive fear of the water. To be honest, I was on the same boat back then but the moment I began to learn gliding, I realized it wasn't so bad. IA gripped her fingers against my shoulder in panic. She was a little heavy but I had the capability to manage preventing both of us from drowning. She tried to say in between pants, "I wanted to... swim with you. But I didn't know you were in the six feet part of the pool"
A light sigh escaped my lips at the time I sent her a sheepish nod. "Sure" My movements started working up once again while I dragged IA to the shallow water. "Just relax..." I advised, not letting go of her hand.
A meek nod. "You weren't relax earlier"
I didn't say anything back and just remained quiet except for the few instructions I told her for a better posture. A short pan of time flew by and Lily joined us. Meanwhile, SeeU was having a fun time with his boy friend on the other side of the pool.
"Aria" A pair of cerulean blue eyes directed themselves to me as IA tilted her head slightly. Reluctant, I mumbled. "Let's go drink later"
IA cocked an eyebrow at me, her gaze shooting curious daggers at me, "Do you have a problem?"
I avoided her and only had my eyes sticked at the water ahead of me, my mind flooding with thoughts of that one person. "Not really".
"Not really?" She repeated but no reply came from me, having no desire to explain the situation. IA turned to face Lily, who just finished blowing bubbles. "She's inviting us"
I could feel Lily staring at me but thankfully, asked no more further questions about my decision. "Maybe she just wants to have the experience now that she's already seventeen"
I dove underneath and tried to do what my coach just said a few minutes ago.
But I still don't understand a damn thing. There were so many why's overflowing inside my mind.
Why is that dumb pink haired girl living in my mind?
I raised my speed and touched the blue tile with my hand before flipping my direction on the way to the other end of the pool.
More importantly, why am I getting so madly jealous?
