You know what really annoys me? Well, a lot of things, but this one main thing really makes me annoyed and that is when people watch the movie of a book before they read the actual book.
So, once, I saw someone reading Deathly Hallows from the series of Harry Potter and since I LOVE those books I obviously decided to ask them how they liked it. So I'm talking to them about it and I ask them "Have you read the other books?" because nowadays I've found that sometimes people just skip to the last book and not even read the first one. (Which is another thing that annoys me) and they say " No, but I've watched the movies and they are good."
Duh Duh Duh......
Here is the moment where I want to pull my hair, scream, and yell at the person, "Movies are different than books!"
First of all, books have more detail in them
Second of all, you can't always tell what the character is thinking in movies
And Third of all, the events that happen in the books might not happen in movies.
If you need an example just think of Percy Jackson and the Lightning Theif.
-So in the movies, Annabeth Chase's hair is brown, in the books her hair is blonde.( and yes I know she dyes it blonde in the second movies but lets focus on the first one)
-In the movie the characters are way to old then they are in the book.
-Also in the scene where Percy, Grover, and Annabeth are fighting Medusa, Percy does not have a phone in order to see the reflection.
-In the book there is a part where Annabeth, Grover, and Percy are in the back of a truck that is filled with animals. That part is not included in the movie
Please guys, try to read the book before you watch the movie because you will end up knowing more about the movies then the person beside you who hasn't read the book.
So there you go! There is my little rant\whine thingamabob.
