Jimin
Today is the day.
The day I get married.
The day Taehyung is let free.
Hopefully.
I look at my reflection in the mirror on my wall.
I sigh, I really don't want to do this, but I have to.
I move and turn to face my bed, picking up my gray-colored suit.
I take my normal clothes off and change into it. The wedding is in a couple of hours and i still need to get my makeup and hair done.
My door opens and my attention snaps towards it as i watch my mother walk inside the room.
I turn to face the mirror again and roll my eyes. I don't want her to be here.
"Come on," She says. "Your stylists are waiting,"
I stay silent and nod, following her out of the room and down a hallway.
She opens another door and I follow her inside.
A girl walks up to me and rushes me into a seat in front of a mirror.
She starts messing with my hair as another girl comes and does my makeup.
"Have him ready in an hour," My mother commands all of the girls in the room.
"Yes Ma'am," They all reply.
I slouch down in my seat as my mother leaves the room, only to be yanked back up by one of the girls.
"Please don't make this more difficult for us, Mr. Park," The girl says.
I sigh and look at myself in the mirror again.
It's been a month since I've seen Taehyung, will I see him today?
I shake my head, I doubt it. My mother probably wont let him come. She wouldn't even let my other friends come.
Time passes by and soon the girls are done and I'm satisfied with how I look.
They all start to clean up as I stand, heading towards the door.
"Mr. Park!" One of the girls call after me. "Mrs. Park doesn't want you to leave the room,"
"Fuck her," I say, walking out as I slam the door closed behind me.
I make my way down the hallway, saying hello to people who are making their way into the venue.
After a couple of minute I find myself outside of the building I was just in. I make my way towards a tree that's not too far away and sit down, not caring if my suit gets dirty or not.
I sigh and bring my knees to my chest, resting my elbows on them and my head in my hands.
Minutes later I feel a hand on my shoulder, scaring me and making me jump.
I look up and see Umji, still dressed in her regular clothes.
"Hey," She says.
"Hi," I say. "Why are you out here?
"I could ask you the same," She says, sitting down next to me.
"I don't want this to happen," I say. "Why can't my mother be normal?"
She stays quiet and we sit like that for a while until one of the stylist girls runs outside towards us.
"Mrs. Park requests to see you Jimin, and we need to get you ready... other Mrs. Park,"
Umji nods and stands up, offering me a hand. I take her hand and she helps me up.
I follow them inside when they split away as I bump into my mother.
"Where have you been!" She yells. "You were supposed to stay in the room, now you're going to be late,"
I roll my eyes and shrug.
"Oh well," I say.
She slaps my arm, not wanting to mess my makeup up.
"What do you mean 'oh well', get your ass to the venue now. Everybody is waiting,"
I roll my eyes again and leave her, making my way down the hallway.
I check my watch, my eyes widening as I realize how late I actually am.
I make it outside again and run to the venue, making my way through the seating and the crowd.
I stand in my spot at the front like I have in the rehearsals and pant, catching my breath.
My eyes scan the crowd for Taehyung yet my heart drops as I can't find him.
My eyes make it towards the front row, almost giving up when I finally spot him.
We lock eye contact and it all hits me.
I'm going to get married.
To somebody I don't love while the person I do love sits in the front and watches.
Music starts playing which scares me but I pretend that it doesn't phase me.
Taehyung breaks the eye contact first as he looks towards the back.
I look where everyone else is and see Umji walking down the aisle.
This story is ending in a few chapters! I hope you enjoy~
