Fredrick pushed through the crowd in the living room, visibly upset. The police were already there and questioning Creep and the rest.

He slammed his shoulder against his shut door, breaking it slightly. Then, howling like an animal in pain, he slammed his fist through the wall, tears starting on his face. "Dammit!" He screamed, punching the wall a second time before he was crying to much. His back hit the wall and he slid to the floor, sobbing quietly into his knees. "F-Fuck. I should've, should've-"

"Should've what?" Funtime knocked quietly on Fredrick's broken door before letting himself in. "Its not like you could've stopped this." He kneeled beside the other boy. His face fell slightly. "Its fate."

"Well fuck fate!" Fredrick growled, his face hidden in his elbow. "She's only a little girl."

Funtime laid a hesitant hand on Fredrick's back, shocked thoroughly when the sobbing sixteen year old turned and clutched him like he was a lifeline. "My family's personal police force was dispatched on this. They'll find her and bring her back safely, I promise. Now, let's get you fists bandaged up. Since you forced them though plaster." He slowly helped Fredrick to his feet then to the adjoining bathroom, sitting him down on the toilet and grabbing out bandages and such. He smiled sadly up at the white and purple haired, broken male as he kneeled in front of him, wrapping his knuckles. "Hurting yourself won't do anything for Chew. It will only hurt her when she sees the scars. And it will hurt more than just her." His voice cracked slightly.

Fredrick, blinking away his own tears, reached up with his already bandaged right hand and cupping Funtime's cheek. "Sorry."

Funtime pulled away and wiped furiously at his eyes, erasing signs of oncoming tears. "No. Its fine. You were upset and it was a way to release the pent up energy. I've broken quite a few things upset at my never present parents. We're teenaged boys." He glanced down.

"Funtime, look at me." Fredrick sighed. When Funtime didn't listen he groaned and looked down at his neatly bandaged hands. "Then just listen. I'm broken, probably beyond repair, but somehow, I'm still here. I'm still here to laugh, smile, cry and... love. Amazingly I can still love even after being beaten to the edge of death many many times. And I do love. I love Chew, Ennard and the rest of the Worthington's as my siblings, Bonnie and Foxy are the closest to parents I've every truly had that I don't feel guilty for being a burden because of my foster family barely being able to support themselves. I love Lexi, Ballora and Baby as friends and you, well its not hard to tell I've fallen for you. Which goes against everything I've ever believed. For the longest time I had thought that love didn't exist. At least, love for someone that isn't your own kin.

"But you changed that. You and Bonnie and Foxy and Ennard and CheeChee. I had thought that this home would just be like the others. Two months then I move, where I didn't know. No one wanted me anymore. Twenty eight foster homes is a record that everyone hates. Because that labels you as a problematic child. And eventually you end up on the streets because you're unwanted. I'm happy here amazingly. And, well, I had never known my dad until I had to shoot him to save Frightmare. And my mom, I never got to truly know because I was four and she was frightened that she wouldn't be able to support us. So I never really had actual parents. I'm not trying to say you have it better, with your parents never being around, I'm just saying that its better here. I don't have to worry if I get to sleep at night or I have to worry about getting beat to a point where I'm too afraid to sleep.

"Funtime, you showed me something I had never thought was real." He cupped Funtime's cheek, finally making him look up. His golden eyes shone with tears. "Thank you." He leaned forward and pressed his lips to Funtime's, his arms snaking around the other's neck. Tears rolled down his cheeks as the kiss deepened. Need, love, want, it all mixed as they kissed before finally pulling away.

"Fredrick." Funtime's head fell against Fredrick's chest as he sobbed. "I'm so sorry. For what you went through. For you needing to move so often. For everything that's happening."

"Funtime Fox. You have nothing to be sorry about. You said so yourself. Its fate." Fredrick lifted Funtime from his chest and stood. "Come on. Let's just forget everything for this afternoon. We're both emotionally tired. One of my better foster mothers always said that no matter how bad things look, there's always time to recharge and find a new light. Even if that light is dim."

"Y-Yeah. I guess you're right." Funtime sighed as they walked into Fredrick's bedroom and sat on the bed against the headboard. Fredrick picked up his glasses and book from the side table and opened it, preparing to read. "What are you reading?" Funtime asked shakily, scooting closer to Fredrick and snuggling into his side.

"Sense and Sensibility. Why?" Fredrick asked, closing the book but keeping his page with a finger.

"Can you, read to me please?" Funtime bit his lip and looked down at his hands.

Fredrick smiled and marked his page before turning to the beginning. "Of course." He sighed and began to read. "Chapter one. The family of Dashwood had long been settled in Sussex..."

Bonnie looked sadly at the broken door then at the couple inside, both asleep on top of each other with Fredrick's book open on the floor where  had fallen when he had drifted to sleep. Slowly he made his way into the room, looking at the holes in the walls before making his way beside the bed and taking the glasses from Fredrick's face and setting them on the table with the book after picking it up.

"Dad?" Ennard whispered from the doorway, his eyes puffy and red from crying. "Is Fredrick going to be okay?"

"I don't know. He's broken. But I think Funtime will do his best to build him up again." Bonnie sighed and shut out the light before shuffling out. "Get to bed. Its midnight and it was a long day. We'll find Chew. And Killer will get what he deserves for messing with this family."

"Okay." Ennard yawned and walked up to Bonnie, hugging him tightly. "I'm scared." He whispered.

"We know. We are too." Foxy sighed, and placed his hand on Ennard's shoulder. "This isn't the first time me and your dad went through something like this though so we have a somewhat hold on this. Go to bed. We'll see what's better in the morning."

Ennard nodded and scuttled to his room, shutting the door tightly. You could hear him double checking all the locks before finally climbing into bed. "The only downside is that we were on the end Chew is on." Bonnie sighed. "This is the first time we're on the other end."

"There's holes in Fredrick's walls isn't there?" Foxy groaned, glancing at the broken door.

Bonnie nodded. "His knuckles are bandaged too. Funtime must've done that."

"Funtime is good for him." Foxy sighed. "Now let's get to bed too. I doubt you're supposed to be up walking a lot until later on."
