Our Moment

I took a shortcut through the woods to get to La Push faster. I often like to walk through the woods, it's peaceful and beautiful just like nature expects it to be. I finally got to La Push after leaving Jake to have his time with Bella. But, when I get there I see figure looking out at the shore.

I stay in the woods for a little bit to observe and realize I already know who it is. I stepped out of the woods and started walking slowly towards him and said his name "Embry?".

He turned around to where we were making eye contact. He looks at me for a while before, he walks around me and starts to walk towards the woods.

I turn and speak "Embry, Please! I already lost my boyfriend and I can't lose my best friend too".

I start to cry a little; he looks like he needed sometime to think about it. "Embry!" I said as I run to him and wrap my arms around him and kiss him.

As I kiss him, he hesitates at first but, starts to kiss me back. He wraps his arms around me and starts to let them go down to my legs and picks me up. I wrap my legs around his waist and we continue to kiss for a while before, I know it we're at my house in my room on my bed.

As we're still kissing each other he starts to kiss my neck gently all over. He's on top of me as we are both completely naked. He pulls away and asks me if I'm ready and I nod yes. He beings to go in slowly and I hold him tight as it hurts a little. He beings to leave kisses on my neck and then brings his lips back to mine.
A while into this moment it starts to feel good and I look at him to let him know that it's OK. He can go a little faster if he wanted to that I'll be OK.

I woke up and realized it's the next day already.

I look behind me to see that Embry isn't by my side anymore. I being to think that he wasn't going to stay anyway like he promised.

I see a note on the pillow next to me where Embry was sleeping at. I gab the note to read it:

I finish reading the note and it brings a smile to my face. I fall back and lay on my pillow before, I get up and walk towards the window. I look out to see the sun coming up and to hear a wolf howl in the distance. I look back on what just happened last night; I kissed my best friend and we had sex together.

It was my first and probably his first as well but, I don't regret it. I didn't sleep with him to make him stay at least, I did it with someone who I trust. Embry was that someone who I trusted from the beginning and now. I may have not felt those same feelings for him like I used to but, I think now I'm falling in love with my best friend.

The moment we had last night made me realize that he does care and I can't wait to see him later.
