The wind raked against the soft grass, making the flowers softly sway with the wind. Trees with luscious fruits stood mighty and tall, birds nesting in their branches. The water in a little pond was so clear, you could see every detail of your face without a ripple. The sun was shining brightly, but it wasn't too hot. It was just the right temperature to hold a picnic in the fields.
In a shaded clearing, three figures stood by the pond. One of them walked to the water and stared at their reflection. Warm brown hair tumbled over fair-white skin. A pair of golden irises reflected in the water, almost as if it were real gold.
"This is quite a serene place." A voice among them spoke up. Emerald-green eyes covered by a few brunette strands of hair. "The weather seems perfectly clear." She said, eyes looking over to the girl by the pond, who had dipped her hand into the chilly water.
"Amelia?"
Upon her name being called, Amelia
turned to the green-eyed girl and pulled her hand out of the water. "Yes, Analyn?" She replied meekly."Are you...is everything fine with you?" Analyn asked and Amelia nodded. The latter glanced over her shoulder where another figure stood, leaning against a tree. "Hey, Leika! You're too far away from us!" She called out and waved her arms.
Leika's crimson eyes glowed uder her hood as she walked to them. "What do we do now?" Analyn asked, looking around anxiously. "We should probably start walking." Leika answered.
"But where? So you're probably suggesting we just walk somewhere randomly?" Amelia mused. Leika scowled at her. "Oh I mean–sure!" Amelia chuckled nervously.
Analyn sighed. The three girls then stepped out of the shadows and into the sunlight. Amelia smiled brightly as the wind made the flowers around her dance. She bent down and picked a small yellow flower, which was one among many.
"What's this?" She asked Leika, who was looking up at the sky. Leika's eyes travelled to the flower her sister was holding. "I know!" Amelia beamed. "It's a yellow flower! Right?"
Analyn and Leika mentally facepalmed.
"I think that's a buttercup." Analyn answered, examining it. "Buttercup..." Amelia repeated. "It sounds tasty!"Analyn and Leika looked at her, alarmed. "It's not! Trust me." Leika said, grabbing the flower from Amelia's hands who looked a bit glum. "Oh", was all she said.
"Are you hungry, perhaps?" Analyn asked her. Amelia held her hands up. "What? No!"
They both looked at her, unconvinced. Amelia backed away before running across the field. Leika and Analyn shared a sigh. "Siblings." They said in unison.
Amelia was definitely happy. The feeling of the sunshine bouncing on her skin and the warm breeze was relaxing.
An oink came behind her. Amelia twirled around to see a pink chubby organism—a pig of course— looking up at her, blinking it's beady eyes. The girl catiously raised her hand over it's head. The pig didn't budge. She lowered her hand more until she felt the pig nuzzle her. Amelia's eyes widened as her smile brightened.
"Your so cute!" She squealed and picked up the animal to cuddle it. Suprisingly it was light. The pig oinked happily as she twirled it in a small circle.
Both her sisters had heard her squealing a mile away. They were suprised to see her bond so quickly with a wild animal.
"Can I keep it?" Amelia asked them, a wide smile on her face. "Of all animals, a pig?" Leika said in disbelief. But she didn't want her sister's smile to dissapear from her face so she finally said, "Fine. You can."
More squealing.
"Uhm, are you sure?" Analyn asked. Leika nodded. "Whatever makes her happy." She said as Amelia ran around with her pig in circles. "You're a really good sister you know." Analyn cooed.
"W-what? I mean, she's my sister, of course I am.." Leika looked away, blushing a bit.
"Wait. Where in the world is Amelia?"
"Huh?" Analyn looked around. "She was here like, five seconds ago!"
Leika groaned internally. "Darn siblings! I take me being nice back!" She humphed. They suddenly heard a scream and an explosion after it. The sound came
"Was that..." Analyn looked at Leika worriedly. Leika's eyes widened and then she started running. Analyn ran after her.
"Amelia! Amelia!" Leika called as she neared the forest. "Damn it, Amelia where are you?!" She yelled. A loud alarmed oink answered her. Analyn and Leika looked at each other before running towards the source of the sound.
They arrived in a clearing which was...blown up. Dirt blocks were scattered everywhere. Nearby trees were now only stumps. In the middle of a hole, Amelia stood, ash covering her face and her hair sticking in every direction. In her hands was a bright red apple. Her pig was behind a tree, shaking.
"A green exploding thing, may or may not have wanted to kill me." Amelia nervously laughed.
Analyn ran to her. "Are you hurt? Are you all right? What's with the apple? WHY DID YOU COME HERE?" She boomed. Amelia cowered. "Well, I was trying to get a snack for Hank and well..."
"Who the hell is Hank?" Leika glowered. "My pig." Amelia squeaked in reply.
Leika smacked her head, but only softly. "Ooow!!" Amelia yelped, rubbing the back of her head. "What was that for?" She whined.
"For being a complete and total idiot." Leika murmured.
Amelia huffed and stood up. But her knees suddenly buckled. She whimpered loud enough for her sisters to hear. "Is something wrong?" Analyn asked.
"My thigh...argh!" Amelia bit her lip. "Let me inspect it." Leika said and lifted up Amelia's leggings. She gasped as she felt blood and saw a cut. It was bleeding, but it wasn't too critical.
Leika frowned at the wound and Amelia. "Explain." She ordered.
"Well, the exploding thing blew up, dirt and stone blocks sailed towards me. I dodged but I hit a sharp rock by my side." Amelia said, Hank rubbing her leg affetionately.
Analyn sighed and Leika shook her head. "You've managed to almost kill yourself right away. Whih is really bad." She said and scanned her crimson eyes around. "We need help."
"You girls need some help?" A voice suddenly asked as someone stepped into the not much of a clearing.
Amelia's anxiousness worsened.
