Annabelle's POV

Finally, school is over, now I have summer break to enjoy.

On a chilly and breezy Saturday with the sun out and bright, the sound of children laughing, the seagulls screaming out for food, and the splash of the blue ocean waves hitting the sand. I was reading a book called "BONES". Being so into the book got all of my attention to where I was frightened by a dog that came out of nowhere and jumps on my lap, looking at him, I was amazed by his black fur and red eyes. To see a dog like this, it was very interesting. I started to pet the dog's fur and wondered where his owner was, cause I wanted to keep him if he didn't have one, all of a sudden, I seen a shadow come over me, as I looked up, there stood an attractive guy standing before me. His eyes were ocean blue, his skin was pale as white snow, and he had short emo-like black hair. He said something but I was so stunned by his beauty, that I didn't flinched when he snapped his fingers together. I blinked twice before he spoke again.

"Sorry about my dog" he said.

I honestly didn't mind about his dog. Especially, out of all the people around us at the beach, why me? As soon as I came to again, he took his dog and apologize for what happened, but all I can do was wave goodbye. As he was walking away, my heart began to beat so loud that I thought people heard it. Then, I was able to calm myself down, and thought to myself this feeling felt like I was a wolf trapped in a cage wanting to go after my prey. I laughed and looked down at my book when suddenly it begun to rain, feeling disappointed, I settled my things together and walked towards my car.

While I was walking, the guy I've seen earlier was with the dog in the pouring rain sitting all alone. I looked at him and decided to go see what was wrong with him, so I got my umbrella out of my car and walked towards him, putting the umbrella over him.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

He looked up at me. "I'm fine." he replied.

At that moment, his eyes was bloodshot red, it was beautiful and I was speechless.

He got up quickly, "Sorry, I should get going, I have to take care of some important matter at my hometown. Nice meeting you."

Looking at him, I wondered where his hometown was, I looked down at my phone than looked back up to ask him for a ride and he was gone, looking around my surroundings, he was nowhere to be found. So, I walked towards my car and sat in it for awhile, relapsing what just happened. Shaking the thought away, I turn my bluetooth on and started jamming to Falling in Reverse-Alone, as I drive up to Forest Hill where my house was located at the end of the street next to a cemetery. The ride was peaceful. Come to find out, many tourist are scared of passing my house because of its look, my house is black with two story and a wilted willow tree in the front yard. I don't mind living there, especially when it's peaceful with no cars to wake me up in the middle of the night. Before, I bought the house the realtor had told me that many people who lived at this house had kill themselves because they had become insane with old folks tale about vampires, that's history nonsense. As I drive up into my garage that's behind my house, I exit my car and was so tired. As I walked into my house, I turned on the a/c unit and went to take a shower. As I came out, I sat down on my bed and continued to read my book where I wouldn't be interrupted. While into the ninth chapter of Bones, I felt myself thrift away into sleep until I heard a tapping noise come from my window. Getting up to see what it was, I felt a cold breeze pass me, but it was nothing at all. I walked back to the bed and fell asleep.

Devon's POV

I saw her today, just sitting on the chair reading a book called "BONES". She looked so beautiful, her black hair, her tanned skin, and chocolate eyes. I told my dog to go jump onto her and frighten her. It worked! She started to look into Max's eyes, she smiled and pet his fur. Then I walked towards her, she noticed my shadow and looked up. Gosh her eyes are gorgeous. I notice she wouldn't stop looking at me.
