"I want to be rich." It was everyone's dream, and now Jason had a chance for it to come true.

Meanwhile, Fuli shook his head in disappointment. So many times had this wish been granted, and mortals still did not get it. Have they not tales or legends to warn them? Apparently not, according to the wish that had come from the man in front of him.

Fuli waved his hand, and let out another sigh as he disappeared.

Dust, sweat, and grime filled the air, and the unbearable stench of exhausion filtered through the men. Jason stood in shock as he watched the miners around him.

"You!" screamed a voice. Jason turned to see a man with dirty clothing and a whip. Jason flinched at the sight of it, he hated pain. "Get back to work!" the man screamed at him.

"I-"

"NOW!" the man yelled, cracking his whip for emphasis. Jason winced. Suddenly, something hard hit his head. It was a hammer. "Better get to work," someone whispered, "The Boss isn't the most patient person."

The menacing crack of the whip echoed louder than the mining hammers. Jason sighed, "What do I do?"

~Jason's 80th birthday~

Jason sat in his tiny one-story cottage, silently congratulating himself for living another year. He had worked in the mining company, mostly because he had no choice. He wasn't allowed to quit or to move. Everytime he tried, he would just end up in the same place.

A knock sounded on his door, and he used his wheelchair to move there. A surprise was waiting for him on the other side.

"Congratulations Mr. Wenner! You've just won the lottery! Unlimited money! The once in a lifetime oppurtunity!" said a man in a shiny black suit. Camera men were behind him.

Jason looked at them blankly, while his mind tried to find the memory of when he had ever entered a competition. After a while, he remembered that wish he had made as a young teen.

He only had 1 month to live. What was the point of having money, if you don't have the time to use it?

Another crazy, random idea coming from my mind.

Remember! I'm always open to new ideas!
