"What?" Jimin looked straight at him.
"Your lip. It's cut pretty bad." Jungkook had on a serious face, "Did he hit you?"
Jimin grabbed his arm, and immediately pulled him out of the room, hoping none of the others heard him.
When they entered the hallway, Jimin saw Hoseok leaning on the wall as he sat on the floor, so he quickly covered his mouth with his other hand as he continued to pull Jungkook towards the other way. Hoseok glanced at them, but immediately looked down.
Jimin just barely heard Hoseok curse then get up to walk in the other direction. But it only slowed Jimin down.
Unlike Jimin, Hoseok didn't hesitate to hit the wall as he left angrily. Jungkook noticed.
"Jimin! Stop." Jungkook called, ready to go back to speak with Hoseok, "Did he hit you?"
"He didn't hit me, Jungkook!" Jimin said a little too loud.
Hoseok stopped and turned back slightly. 'Hit him? Who hit him?' Who in the fuck would dare hit Jimin? "What?" Hoseok voiced out at them.
Jungkook turned to Hoseok and approached him, "Hyung. Just because you're so hung up and uneasy you took it out on him, is that it?"
"Jungkook!" Jimin called.
"What are you talking about?" Hoseok asked as he stood his ground. Lord knows what in the hell this kid was talking about now.
"We all know you can't help yourself when you're frustrated. You even always choke us jokingly while laughing. Have you really gone so far as to—"
"Honestly, Jungkook. What are you going on about?"
"Hyung, are you really going to lie about everything? Did you hit him or not?" Jungkook was clenching his fists.
"Are you serious? You're the one who said I had feelings for him. Now you're saying that I hit him? I didn—"
"Then what happened last night? How'd he get that if you didn't hit him?" Jungkook pointed at Jimin.
Hoseok looked past Jungkook to look at Jimin. First, though, he noticed that Namjoon and the others were peeking in to see what was going on, and they were all ready to stop them. Who knows how much they heard or what they were assuming. It was too late now to do anything. Thank god their managers were on break and no cameras were around.
Hoseok looked back at Jimin who was biting his lip again. He looked to be defensive, but Hoseok didn't notice anything wrong besides his posture. "He looks fine, what do you mean?"
"No, he isn't. If you actually looked at him at all, you'd have noticed." Jungkook said.
"Jimin?" Hoseok looked at him again, but Jimin didn't move aside from putting his hand up to cover his mouth. Jungkook stepped aside, and Hoseok walked past him to go to Jimin.
When he got close to Jimin, Jimin got even more defensive, turning his face away and hiding behind his hand.
"Jimin." Hoseok took off his shades, exposing his swollen red eyes to light. He then reached a hand to hold Jimin's. Slowly he helped Jimin remove his hand away, then used his other to push Jimin's chin up. But he was still biting down heavily, eyes closed, and body shaking.
Jungkook watched them from afar, but he couldn't for too long.
"Jimin." Hoseok said as he looked straight into his eyes this time. What had he missed? All those times ignoring him today, and what's worse—was it really something he did? He couldn't remember last night at all.
