Instantly I found myself in Freddy's boiler room and in my toddler mindset once more. I could hear screams coming from somewhere in the room. I was still bleeding from where I had been shot. "Somebody help me!"

I heard a girl scream and I shook my head and sighed. A few seconds later the girl came running down the catwalk. Spotting me she ran up to me "you've got to help me. He's crazy. He's going to kill me." The girl pleads between gasps of breath.

"Me not sure what you want me to do about it. What's the point in trying to get away anyway? He's just going to catch us. It's only a matter of time before he kills us." I replied too tired to fight anymore.

"How can you be so calm?" The girl demanded and then moaned "Oh no." As laughter filled the room. Instantly Freddy was in front of us chuckling evilly.

"Thought you could hide from me huh? Well I'm getting tired of this game of hide and seek. Well, more of hide and shriek. Let's play something else shall we?"

"Perhaps we should play connect the dots." Freddy replied with a smile as he stared at the girl who had freckles all over her body in various places. He slowly began to connect the freckles using his knifed glove.

"Awww, what's the matter? Don't like connect the dots? Well, I've got an idea. Why don't we suck face then instead Freddy asked standing directly in front of the girl. She barely had time to protest before he began french kissing her. As he did she began to mummify.

I shuddered and whimpered and turned away in disgust. "Kitten, what brings you here?" Freddy asked as he dropped the now mummified girl to the floor.

"Me... Me..." I couldn't find the words to reply. I started backing away from him still shivering.

"I am sorry you had to see that." Freddy said snapping his fingers causing the girl to disappear. "You caught me right in the middle of my dinner. I wasn't expecting you until later. Why are you here? You shouldn't be here right now." I winced in reply and nearly collapsed onto the catwalk.

Instantly Freddy rushed to my side and pulled me to my feet forcing me to stand and face him. As he did he felt something warm gushing from my midsection and he pulled his hand back.

It was covered in blood. Freddy frowned, he hadn't laid a hand on me so how could I be bleeding? Unless, I was bleeding to death in the real world and had slipped into a coma.

"Kitten you need to wake up. You need to wake up right now!" Freddy demanded and I winced as I tried to comply.

"Me can't." Freddy growled using his glove he slashed angrily at a nearby pipe slicing it in half and I whimpered. I hated it when he was angry. I was always afraid that he would hurt me. "Me scawed. Me don't want to go bye bye." I replied tearfully.

"Shh. Everything is going to be all right. Daddy will take care of everything. Your going to be ok. Your going to live." Freddy said as he lifted me up in his arms and kissed my forehead. The next thing I knew I awoke to find myself in a hospital bed. Charity and our father were standing by my bedside.

"It's about time you woke up you little brat! Do you realize how much this hospital bill is going to cost me?" My foster father said with a growl.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean for this to happen." I said lowering my eyes to the floor groaning in pain.

"Catherine you have nothing to apologize for." Mr. Alucard replied.

"No of course not. It's not her fault that a mad man attacked and almost killed us. No wait, actually it was. He was after her, not my my daughter or I."

Ignoring my father's sarcasm Mr. Alucard looked at him and asked very calmly "and how exactly did she come by those wounds? They don't look like stab wounds to me."

"She stepped in between the mad man and my gun and got herself shot. It's not my fault, in fact, this whole situation is her fault." My father replied.

Mr. Alucard's  eyes narrowed and I could tell that he was angry with my father's comment. "You should be grateful that Catherine is all right and that none of you obtained any fatal injuries."

"I am grateful that my daughter and I have survived this terrible ordeal. Since you are here could we discuss my debt? Perhaps over a friendly game of poker?" My father asked as Me. Alucard turned to leave.

"No thank you. We never gamble." Mr. Alucard replied with a smile his fangs glistening in the moonlight. "However, I think that would be wise indeed to discuss an arrangement . Meet my sons and I at 66 Elm Street in precisely one hour."

"Isn't that your home address?" My father asked nervously.

"Why yes. That won't be a problem will it?" Mr. Alucard asked.

"No. I'll be there."

"Good. Oh and don't try and weasel your way out of this meeting. There isn't anywhere in this town where you can hide from me." My father shuddered as a wolf howled in the distance. "Ah the children of the night. They make such beautiful music don't you agree?"

"Remember, be at the provided address in one hour. It would be a shame if something were to happen to you because you lost track of time." Mr. Alucard said with a smile as he turned to leave he paused and turned his attention to me instead. "Catherine, please get some rest. I shall come by to visit you again tomorrow to check on your progress."
