"Marie is there somewhere we can wash up?" Charity asked as Marie lead us upstairs.
Marie didn't reply instead she led us to a large room where two sets of clothes had been set out. "Are these for us?" Charity asked in surprise.
"No ma'am these are for you." Marie replied with a slight bow.
"Where are Catherine's clothes?" Charity asked with a slight frown.
"In her room of course." Marie replied.
"Then your Boss was expecting us?"
"It is not my place to answer that." Marie replied. "Dinner will be in one hour please be ready and downstairs by then. If you'll excuse me, I must see Miss Catherine to her room." Marie replied.
"Yes of course. See Catherine, I told you everything would be alright." Charity said with a smile.
I grunted in reply. Something didn't feel right about this whole situation. "Marie may I ask you something?"
"Of course Ma'am."
"What is your Boss like?"
"He's well... He is..."
"Marie are the girls in their rooms yet? I'd like to have a word with Catherine before dinner." The man from downstairs demanded a hint of irritation in his voice.
"Yes sir. I am bringing Catherine to her room now."
"Good I shall be up momentarily to talk with her. See that she is ready for my arrival."
"Yes sir." Mary replied. "Right this way, Catherine. Ah, here we are."
As I looked around the room I noticed something rather unusual. It seemed designed for a young child. It was designed like a movies theater or broadway street with movie posters such as Legend , Labyrinth, Beauty & the Beast, The Little Mermaid,, Winnie the Pooh & his friends, Phantom of the Opera, Pirates of the Caribbean, the haunted mansion, Star Wars & Disney characters such as my favorite villains.
As well as pictures of my favorite animals hung on the walls. Some of which included wolves, tigers, lions, leopards, panthers, moose, other large wild cats, bald eagles, owls, hawks,
falcon, horses both wild & tame, crocodiles, alligators.
My my favorite types of tame cats & dog types, my favorite insects such as ladybugs, praying mantis, butterflies, and my favorite mythical creatures such as unicorns, Qilin, dragons and creatures such as nifflers, Kelpie etc
There were stars of all shapes and types on the ceiling, and the sheets on the bed or rather crib and playpen had care-bears, rainbow bright, Winnie the pooh & friends, Sesame Street characters, the 1980-early 1990's teenage mutant ninja turles version, power rangers, He-man, She-rah.
Several Star Wars one's including the new Star Wars Force Awakens trilogy, the Mandelorian with Gogru, cabbage patch dolls, pound puppies, Beauty and the beast, the little mermaid, bambi & wild animals.
There were children's books on the shelves and several stuffed animals and dolls sitting on a toy chest. " Am I going to be sharing this room with a little girl?"
Marie sighed and smiled at me apologetically "no ma'am this is to be your room."
"My room? Ummm where am I supposed to sleep?" I asked as I looked around the room once more completely confused.
Marie seemed nervous as she replied "Please, don't ask me any questions. The Boss wants to discuss things with you alone. If he finds out that I discussed things with you, he will fire me. I can't afford to loose this job. Please change into the outfit provided for you." Marie pleaded and I sighed.
