Till Death Do Us Part {Trafalgar Law X Reader X OC] Au

Part 2: Ghosts

A/N: I decidd that I would try and write just a little of an extra to this one. 

Trafalgar Law was run terribly ragged after losing his lover, the raven haired male was leaning over his morning newspaper years later with a cup of coffee dangling from his fingertips. It had been ten years since the fateful night when he had lost the woman he loved. The woman he had hoped to marry.

His body jolted up in surprise thinking he heard something from upstairs. Shaking his head slightly he began to set down his mug of coffee, the newspaper following suit before his hands came up rubbing at his black hair back and fourth, messing it up even worse before his lips spread out to let out a sudden yawn.

It had been over 10 years since that fateful day. Since the day he lost the woman he loved, the day his daughter Cora came into his life. Speaking of his only daughter he slowly worked to stand from the chair he had been sitting in, pushing himself away from the dining room table to  slowly make his way towards the stairs and up the steps towards his daughters room. Coming to the door, his ears perked hearing a sudden giggle that could only be his daughters and her tiny child like voice.

"Mommy that tickles" Cora squeaked between giggles causing the male to freeze and pushing to enter his daughters room to quickly, almost falling over himself to get inside of his only child's room. "Cora-Ya who were you talking to sweetie" He said in a ragged voice, after hearing the word mommy come from his daughters lips, his heart had stilled turning to look at the space in front of his only child, he had gotten a dark feeling as if maybe he was missing something important and couldn't quite place what the feeling was.

"I was talking to mama. She says that she misses you quite a lot and hopes your doing well" His youngest said feeling small tears prick at her tiny adorable gold eyes, which only made his heart ache and clench all the same, before he came over reaching out to pick his daughter up suddenly causing the smaller female to squeak before he held her close." I miss her to Cora-Ya, So very much " He whispered, for a brief moment all he could do was feel the tears swell in his own tired eyes. 

Law sighed softly after setting his daughter down upon the floor, deciding to finally get the young girl ready for school as he tugged a few things out.

When he finally had her dress, he took her out to the car, making sure she was strapped in before getting into the drivers seat. When he got to the school, he kissed her head gently smiling a little, before pulling her from the car and heading towards the front door to set her down. Dropping her off at the door he smiled, with the promise that he would return as always right on time. To him, Trafalgar Corazon was one of the brightest kids in the school. He was grateful that his daughter got his brilliant mind and that his daughter was bound as he got older to have her mothers gorgeous looks. He knew that when she got older, she would become a real heartthrob to anyone who laid eyes on her, just like him and his now dead lover. 

Law couldn't help but to laugh softly while he made his way towards the graveyard, slowly picking up a fresh dozen or so {Y/F/C} roses making his way towards the largest stone building he had built for the one he had loved. He let out a soft breath, seeing his breath in the cold air as he glanced at the stone with his exhausted eyes. Raising his hand to run his tattooed fingers, grazing the name on the side, feeling the tears prick the corners once again.

Pushing his hand within his coat pocket, he slowly pulled out a key. Glancing at the silver key with a soft gentle expression before he slid it within the lock. Hearing the familiar click he pushed open the door, not really caring if he left it open as he made his way towards the stone coffin in the center of the room. His body moving to slid down onto his knees within the cold mausoleum. His head sliding down to lay against the stone siding as he spoke quietly to the grave.
