A Drunken Vampire

It has been three weeks since Bella started school. She has gotten the hang of it pretty well and has become good friends with many monsters.

It was Friday night. Bella was in her room, writing in her journal, when she heard a knock at her window. She opened the blinds and saw Lucine, looking worried. She opened her window and heard Mercy's voice from the ground. She sounded tipsy.

"Bella, we need your help." Lucine gave a nervous smile.

"Oh no.. What's the matter?" Bella asked.

"It's Mercy. She's hella drunk." Lucine pointed down. Bella looked down and saw Mercy, Corentine, and Zaphara. Coren and Zaph were trying to calm Mercy down, who kept yelling.

"I ain't listening to anything y'all bitches have to say!" Mercy exclaimed.

"Mercy, sweetie, you're very drunk. You need to tone it down." Zaphara told her, in a soothing voice.

"Well, you know what? I'm fucking mad. You know why?" Mercy yelled. Everyone looked at her, confused. There was a long pause, but then Mercy spoke back up.

"Guys, I want Zephyr to fucking love me but he ain't getting my damn hints!" She said. Everyone started laughing.

"That's because he's an idiot, Mercy!" Corentine said.

"Does Mercy, like, have a crush on Zephyr?" Bella asked Lucine.

"They both like each other and it's painfully obvious, but neither of them will admit it. Well, Mercy only admits it when she's drunk." Lucine explained. She laughed afterwards.

"Like how the fuck is you gonna flirt with me but not date me or wanna fuck me like every other boy I talk to. Makes no fucking sense, but it is what it is." Mercy angrily says.

Bella gets her phone and calls Zephyr to come over to help Mercy. He agreed, worried she wasn't okay. Bella and Lucine come down and go into he road, where everyone else is.

Zephyr comes a few minutes later and runs to Mercy.

"Are you okay??? What happened??" He asked, scared she was hurt.

"You wanna know what happened?" She says, noticeably drunk. Right before she says something else, Zaphara cuts her off.

"Hey bestie! We were hanging out and Mercy had a little too much to drink because she was in one of her moods so she's a bit tipsy." She explains.

"I ain't drunk. I'm just woke as fuck!" Mercy yells.

"Is there anything I could do to help?" Zephyr says, ignoring Mercy.

"Yeah! You can fuck me!" Mercy yells. Zephyr was used to her being drunk and the stuff she'd say, so he was used to this.

"How about I drive her home?" He suggests.

"Well, we were all supposed to sleep over at Corentine's house." Lucine says as Zephyr picks up Mercy (bridal style;) ).

"Then I'll just drive her to Corentine's house and put her to bed while you guys walk around and stuff." He said. The girls looked at each other and nodded.

"Okay. We're gonna stay and talk to Bella for a bit. You know how I have bunk beds? Put her on the bottom bunk and make sure she goes to sleep!" Corentine says. Zephyr nods and brings Mercy to his car and drives off.
