I waited till Baekhyun's shift is over by 8, then we head off to have our dinner together. I like this feeling, us walking hand in hand in this cold late autumn.
"Well…my previous girlfriend…we broke up because of her betrayal as well. She was seeing another guy behind me. She's the same age with you, and we're neighbors. We've been together for a year, until I broke up with her three months ago. Till now, I still can't forgive what she'd done towards me. I know that feeling, Jaeyoon. It's definitely heartbreaking, but we have to move on."
"I think that ever since I woke up from the accident, I moved on. At least when I realized everything, I don't love him anymore."
"Yeah, I'll probably haunt you in your dreams if you do." He laughed and squeezed my hand slightly. It felt so heartwarming to have someone like Baekhyun. I just wonder what his previous girlfriend see in the other guy, that she's willing to let go of Baekhyun. He's definition for a perfect ideal boyfriend…and I'm glad to have him with me.
"What are you thinking now?" He ruffled my hair softly and asked. "Nothing much, just thinking how lucky I am to have someone like you." I smiled. "Oh, right. Before I forget, my parents invited you to have dinner with us by this Sunday! You can come over, right?"
"Sunday? Yeah I'll be there after the surgery I have by that day." He smiled. "I was suddenly reminded that I am suppose to bring you to meet my parents some time. Is it alright if they go with me for Sunday?"
"Sure…we just need to add another two set of utensils, anyways. I'm sure that my parents wouldn't mind about that and they'll sure be happy for meeting your parents."
"You know, sometimes I feel like we just get together without even knowing much about each other. Like, I don't know anything about your past, and you don't know about mine too. Isn't it too fast for us? All those 'I love you', kisses, and now we're meeting each other's parents. It feels like we're getting married." He chuckled.
"Maybe…but I am deeply in love now, I don't know anymore though. I met you at the right time and the right moment, and you're like the sunlight that keeps my heart going."
"Jaeyoon, what do you think if we just get married after you graduate?" He suddenly asked. I looked at him, and then looked down. It's too surprising and I can't take this for now.
"Guess you aren't okay with it." He just chuckled. "If we talk about marriage now, it'll definitely be too fast. We're just together for about a month. It's okay, Jaeyoon, I understand."
"I guess we still have a lot of things to learn about each other. Maybe…a year after I graduate? Maybe till then we would've known each other well enough."
"Hmm, probably." He hummed. He suddenly stopped in his track, which made me stop as well. I looked up at him in confusion. Baekhyun just smiled, then leaned down, pressing his lips against mine.
"I love you, Jaeyoon."
