For Life || EXO Baekhyun [SSS #7]

Baekhyun and I spent our afternoon well at Namsan Tower and some other famous couple spots around. Baekhyun bought a lock for us and according to the workers there, if we make a wish and throw the keys away, the lock will never unlock and we'll stay together forever.

We then went to Baekhyun's house, for dinner. He said that his mother was the one who's cooking and he told me not to be nervous for meeting his parents. I was kind of relieved that they are actually really friendly and talkable, like how Baekhyun is.

"They like you a lot. I can tell from the way they treat you." Baekhyun told me as he's locking the door of his house. He's sending me back to my house, of course.

"Really? I'm still worrying about if they'll like me or not." I pressed my lips together and commented. He turned and pinched both sides of my cheeks, after he's done locking the door. "You're loveable, how can they not like you?" He chuckled.

"You're just saying that I'm loveable because you love me." I whined at him. He grinned and said, "Maybe, but to me, you really are. Come on, I have to send you back home before your parents get worry about you." He held my hands and said.

"Jaeyoon?" I heard a voice called out, as Baekhyun and I were about to head to the car. I turned and was totally surprised with what I saw. It's Yoo Hyojin.

Baekhyun looks surprised as well. I felt him tensed up a little bit upon Hyojin's appearance. Do they know each other?

I smiled politely at her and greeted, "Hello, Hyojin."

"Hello, Jaeyoon…and Baekhyun-ssi." I frowned a little bit. "Do you know each other?" I asked.

"Yes, we're neighbors." Hyojin just nodded. Baekhyun squeezed my hands lightly, and said, "It's late now, Jaeyoon, you should get home as soon as possible."

"Sure. I'll get going first, Hyojin. Good to see you." I nodded slightly at her, then left with Baekhyun. We entered his car. He didn't revve the engine first.

I held his hands, and asked, "Are you alright? Baekhyun?"

"How do you know Hyojin?" He suddenly asked.

"We're…coursemates. And Baekhyun? She's actually…the third wheel for my previous relationship."

"She's my ex, Jaeyoon." He suddenly confessed. I stared at him for a while. Does that means…we were both being betrayed? By a pair of couple?

"It's alright, I'm here." I didn't know what else I can say to him. It must be hard how he's having her as neighbor and sometimes he is left with no choice but to bump into her. Baekhyun pulled me into a hug. He then kissed my forehead slightly. "You really wouldn't leave me, right?"

"I would never leave you, like how you'll stay by my side." I nodded sincerely and told him.

Baekhyun heaved out a sigh. He leaned and gently pressed his lips against mine.

I didn't know how long had we been staying in the car, kissing before we head off to my house. The only thing that I know and want to remember is, the promises that we made for each other that night.
