Brennen had a free day this weekend. Well, besides daily vlogging that is, which seemed to be really simple at the time.
Except that Colby was coming to hang out.
After all, everyone was leaving for trips, Colby didn't want to really go anywhere but Brennen's house.
For one of three reasons; He was actually going to ask the vlogger on a date.
He found himself waiting on Brennen's couch, his socks smoothly sliding along the floor as he leaned over the arm of the couch.
"What's today's plans, Colbyyy?"
Colby glanced up from his phone to see the camera lens pointed in his direction. He snickered, "I mean, we can just stay home and fuck, you know."
Brennen giggled behind the camera, "Sounds like fun but we need food first."
The two shared a fit of giggles before deciding to go to their favorite restaurant for food.
They left the house, camera in hand, and headed to Brennen's 'fancy' car.
He opened the passenger side door with a grin, "Ready, bro?"
"Yeah, of course." Colby took a double-take, Brennen was acting weird suddenly.
He hopped in nonetheless and grinned. Brennen hopped behind the wheel and handed the camera to Colby, "Can you hit the pause button?"
Colby nodded, "Sure, yeah. What's up?"
He hit the button, unaware that it didn't click and pause.
Brennen glanced over at his best friend, his closest buddy, his partner in crime, and fellow vlogger.
"Instead of our usual place, I want to take you somewhere better."
"Where?"
"You'll see. It's a surprise."
Colby chuckled nervously, fidgeting with the camera strap, "Um, okay, dude, sure thing. What's the occasion?"
Brennen snickered softly, "Don't worry, bro."

The place looked fancy, expansive almost, and Colby took a few seconds to study the decor of the windows and door.
"Come on, I'm buying."
"No way, dude. This is hella expansive!"
"It's only fifty bucks a person, it's fine. Come on."
Brennen is totally weird today!
Brennen scoffed and opened his door, "Dude, we are literally in a big city, everything's expansive."
Colby rolled his eyes and reached for his door. Brennen chuckled and shut his, walking towards Colby's side. Colby watched him get closer and smiled softly, crossing his arms.
Brennen opened the door, "Come on, Princess. Hurry up."
"Dude." Colby laughed, hopping out and passing the camera to Brennen.
Brennen shut the door and chuckled, leading Colby into the building.

"What is any of this?"
Brennen took a second glance at the menu, "It's way more complex than I thought.."
Colby glanced over, "What's a Pashtu?"
"Passetoui." A waiter corrected him, "It's seafood-"
"Nevermind." Colby shrugged, lightly cringing at the mention of seafood.
Brenne smirked when he found it, the junk food section is what he called it.
Basic burgers, complex but recognizable options, and similar dishes to their usual lunch and dinner.
"Here, look." Brennen started, "The Brolby food section."
"The Brolby-" Colby cut himself off with a laugh, "I wish they would call it that, man. That'd be so awesome."
Brennen snickered softly, "This is like a date man."
Colby felt his heart beat just the tiniest bit faster, an array of hope glistening in his eyes. "Heh, really?"
"Do you want this to be a date?" Brennen winked at him.
Colby snickered and nodded, "You know it. Brolby date part one."
Brennen grinned, "It's settled then. I have just the plans for today."

The two had just finished and left to the car when Colby's phone began to ring.
He checked the caller ID, "Sammmmmmm".
He glanced over at Brennen who was focused on driving to this place, he was talking to the camera about what the daily vlog would be today.
Colby shook his head softly and clicked his phone off, ignoring Sam's call.
I can call him back later. Right now, its just me and Brennen.
"So, where next?"
Brennen glanced over, "Obviously you're not afraid of heights so I thought we'd check out the newly built spincoaster."
Colby grinned, "Oh hell yeah, dude. This date is so great."
Brennen smiled softly, "What do you want to do after?"
"Maybe chill in the park. I think they've got ice cream there."
"Classic Colby."
Colby chuckled and smiled, "You know it."
Brennen seemed nervous, he started fidgeting with the steering wheel cover.
"Dude, you okay?"
Brennen glanced over and smiled, "Yeah, I'm good."
"Are you sure?"
Brennen sighed, "Look.."
Colby felt worry begin to pull at his heart and turned to full face the man.
"I've been in love with you for, however long its been and, well, I guess, I just want brolby to he real, man."
Colby gaped at him, his face lightly dusting with blush, "Wait, so you've been serious about this entire date, dude?"
"Bro, I've spent literally 54 bucks on you for fancy food instead of fast food. I even dropped hints by opening your door for you, man."
"All because you love me.. Fuck, dude, I love you too."
Brennen chuckled and glanced back at the road, "I'm glad. Hey, Colby?"
Colby leaned his head against Brennens shoulder, "Yup?"
"Are we gonna fuck now?"
