Chapter Eleven

"I'm finished! I believe I deserve a massage!" Ally screams out happily. I shook my head and walked over to her.

"Alright I hear you my majesty." I bowed earning giggles from everyone except Lauren who was still trying her best to finish off her pile. I let my hands rest on her shoulders as I began easing her muscles.

Ally groaned in pain as I kneaded out a knot right in the middle of her back. Man these girls really need to get themselves a girls day for massages. Maybe they're that stressed that they haven't had the time to wind down. I'm going to have a talk with Reid about giving the girls a break. I'm sure they can spare an entire day to relax from their busy lives.

"So how's that crush of yours Y/N? You making a move on your girl?" I rolled my eyes as Normani winked in my direction.

"Nope, I'm not answering and because of that I'm not massaging Ally's back anymore. Sorry Ally." I immediately threw my hands up and moved back to my seat. Ally grumbled whilst she slapped Normani multiple of times because she made me stop giving her back rub.

Normani mumbled a sorry under the amount of slaps coming from Ally as Dinah took out her phone to record and laughed along with Lauren. God her laugh makes me want to smile but I'm trying my best to pretend to stay mad. I couldn't hear what Ally was saying to Normani but I saw the motherly side of her speaking to Normani like she was teaching her a lesson after getting scolded

I smiled and sighed seeing that Ally was taking the back rub too seriously out on Normani. So to save the dark skinned girl, I went back to Ally and continued the back massage where I left off with Normani silently thanking me through her eyes. The things I do for these girls.

"To answer your question Normani, no. I haven't made a move on her and she isn't my girl. I don't think she really notices me anyways. Waiting for her to be mine is like waiting for rain in a drought. Useless and disappointing."

"Oh hell no. You did not just quote off from A Cinderella Story." I shrug my shoulders and patted Ally's shoulders. It was true though. As Y/N, I had no chance with Lauren but it was more possible as being Ryder.

"Alright Ally I'm done with your massage. You all need a spa day or something to get professionals to give you a massage." A chorus of amen's echoed in the room.

Xander got out of his seat and went to the door, leaving me a bit confused as to where he was going.

"I'm going to get some coffee and I need to speak with someone so I'll be back before the meet and greet." I wasn't able to ask him to get me one too as he dashed out of the room. Strange.

I heard someone cheer in happiness as they threw their head back in happiness. Looks like Lauren was really driven to finish the signings off. Though I'd say that the speed was quite impressive. She didn't have to say anything because I was already walking over to her. I think I'm already wrapped around her finger even though we weren't together without her knowing it.

"Why do you say that you will be unable to be with her even though you haven't tried pursuing her?" Lauren asked hesitantly as I started to rub her tight shoulders.

"For a few reasons honestly. She's interested in someone else so she I'll never be able to grab her attention towards me. Even then if I get her attention, I don't think I could date her only because my life is too complicated to handle." The girls make a series of puffs in retort of what I had said.

"If your life is complicated then what is ours? You shouldn't have anything to worry about and sorry to hear that she's interesting in someone else." Lauren says. I sigh and take a seat next to her.

"Well you can't get what you always want. I need to move on anyways." I leaned my head down on the table to close my eyes for a bit. "It's harder when she's so close yet so far." I mumbled only for me to hear.
