Jesabell's POV:
Our first day here and it's raining. I'm a little upset that we can't go outside and explore. This place is huge, and, well now, flooding. It is getting pretty boring, so boring that Peter and Susan are playing a dictionary game, my sisters are all lying around the room, trying to take naps.
Em and Isabell are playing a card game, Edmund is fixing something under a table, and Lucy and I are staring out to window at the rain. I wish I had the power to make it stop. "Gastrovascular. Come on Peter, Gastrovascular." Susan says. "Is it Latin?" Peter asks. "Yes."
"Is it Latin for worst game ever invented?" Edmund jokes. Susan slams the book closed. "We could play hide and seek." Lucy suggests. "But we're already having so much fun." Crystal says sarcastically. "Come on Peter please. Pretty please." She says.
"One, two, three, four-" We all get up and take off through the house. This is one of the perks of traveling in a large group is the games are epic. Bell and I decide to hide together so we head into one of the rooms that is empty. "This is a terrible hiding spot Jez." She says.
"I know, but where else is there in time?" She asks. "Good point." She says. We hear Peter stop counting then we hear Lucy. "It's alright! I'm back!" She screams. "What?" I ask. "I don't know." She says. We leave our room and we run to where Lucy's voice was coming from.
Everyone is gathered around the small girl. "What's going on?" I ask. "I don't think Lucy wants to play anymore." Peter says, looking up. I blush when he looks at me. Ugh! Bell was right I've fallen hard for him. "But I've been gone for hours." Lucy claims. "What?" Sadie asks.
We follow her to one of the spare rooms and then she tells us that we had to go into the wardrobe. Megan and Edmund go behind it and Susan and Crystal check inside of it. It is a big wardrobe I must say, but now big enough for the forest Lucy claims.
Edmund and a Susan knock on the wood. "Lucy the only wood in there is the back of the wardrobe." Sadie tells her. "One game at a time Lu, we don't all have your imagination." Peter says. I believe her for some reason. I look over and Bell and Em and I can tel they do too.
Megan looks confused, but Sadie and Crystal thinks she's faking it. I can tell by their faces. They start to walk out of the room. "But I wasn't imagining!" Lucy yells. "That's enough Lucy." Susan says. "I wouldn't lie about this!" She says. "Well I believe you." Edmund says.
"You do?" The young girl asks. "Of course, didn't I tell you about the football field I found in the cupboard?" Edmund asks. "You just have to make things worse don't you?" Peter asks him. "Shut up! You think you're dad, but you're not!" Edmund yells, running off.
Megan quickly follows him. "Well that was nicely handled." Susan says, walking off with Sadie and Crystal in toe. Peter begins to follow. "But it really was there." She says quietly. Susan's right Lucy, that's enough." He says, walking out of the room.
"Em, Bell, Jez, you all believe me don't you?" She asks us. "Of course we do Lu." Bell says with a smile on her face. "Yeah, I mean impossible, but totally cool." Em says, trying to cheer the girl up. "Come on, let's go to Bell and my's room and talk about it." I say. "Alright!" The girl says happily.
We go into the room and lock ourselves in, talking all night long.
Megan's POV:
After everyone falls asleep I hear footsteps outside Sadie and my's room. Sadie, Crystal, and Susan are having a slumber party and Jez, Bell, Em, and Lucy are having one as well. I didn't join either due to the awkwardness from this afternoon.
I grab my robe and walk out of the room with shoes on as well. I see Lucy with a candle heading for the spare room. I follow her inside and walk backwards. The air starts to get colder. And soon I feel crunching under my feet. I trip and fall into......... snow? Lucy was right. She was RIGHT!
"Megan? Oh Megan isn't this place wonderful?" She asks me. "Yeah." I say. "Come on, let's go meet Mr. Tumnus. He'd love to meet you." She says. "Alright." I say. I follow her through the snow int we come to a house I The side of a mountain.
She knocks and a man with goat hooves for feet steps out. "Lucy, who is this?" He asks her. "This is my friend Megan Chase." She says. "Please. My name is Mr. Tumnus." He says. "Pleasure." I say, holding out my hand. He shakes it weirdly and then invites us inside.
We talk for what seems like forever then we go off on our way. On the way back we find Edmund laying in the snow. "Ed?" I ask. He looks at us, confused in seeing us. "Oh Edmund, you got in too, isn't it wonderful!" Lucy says, running and hugging him.
"Where have you two been?" He asks, looking at me. "Lucy had to let me meet Mr. Tumnus." I say. "Yeah, the White Witch hasn't heard that he helped me." Lucy says. "The White Witch?" Edmund asks. "She calls herself the Queen of Narnia, but she really isn't." Lucy says.
Edmund's face pales. "Are you alright?" I ask. "Well, what do you expect, it's freezing. How do we get out of here?" He asks "Come on this way." She says, grabbing both of our hands. I shiver a little, but Edmund notices. "You cold?" He asks. "Like you said, it's freeing here." I say.
He moves one arm around me and instantly my body heats with a blush. I swear I blush worse than Sadie. Sadie turns as red as her hair. We finally get through the wardrobe again. Lucy runs into Peter and Edmund's room screaming for Peter to wake up.
When Edmund and I finally walk into the room all of our siblings are inside. along with Bell and Em. "This time Edmund and Megan went too." Lucy finishes. Everyone looks at us. "You two saw the fawn?" Peter asks. I nod while Edmund shakes his head.
"Megan did, but Edmund didn't go there with us. What were you doing Edmund?" Lucy asks. "Just playing along. I'm sorry Peter, Megan and I shouldn't have encouraged her. But you know how little kids are these days, they just don't know when to stop pretending." Edmund says.
Lucy now has tears in her eyes. She runs off, everyone following. I am soon left in a room with Edmund. "Why in the would would you do that?" I ask, angry at him for what he just did to his little sister. "What? I can't have the thinking we're crazy as well." He says.
"You know where you were, so when you're ready to admit it, come talk to me." I say, glaring at him before stomping out of the room. "Wait! Megan come back! I'm sorry!" He yells. "I'm not the one you need to apologize to Edmund." I say, shutting my door.
I quickly take off my robe and climb into bed. When my head hits the pillow, I'm out like a light.
