Crystal's POV:
"Come on, we don't want to caught out here after nightfall." Mr. Beaver says. We soon come across a dam. "Oh blimey, looks like the old girl's got the kettle on. Nice cup of Rosie Lee." Mr. Beaver says. "It's lovely." Ember and Lucy gush.
"No, it's nearly a trifle, but it'll look the business when it's finished." He explains to us. We head closer to it. "Beaver? Is that you? I've been worried sick. If I find out you've been out with badger again I- Oh, I never thought I'd live to see this day." A female beaver asks.
"Look at my fur You couldn't have given me 10 minutes warning?" She asks. "I'd have given you a week if I thought it would help." Mr. Beaver says. "Oh come inside, and we'll see if we can't get you some food and some civilized company." Mrs. Beaver says. Megan, Lucy, and I giggle at this.
We step inside the dam and I instantly become warm. Mrs. Beaver cooks while Mr. Beaver talks to us. "Is there anything we can do to help Tumnus?" Peter asks. Lucy starts to look hopeful about her friend being saved.
"No, they'll have taken him to the Witch's House by now and you know wha they say about them gates, there are few who go in them that ever come out." Mr. Beaver says. Lucy looks down disappointed.
"Fish and chips." Mrs. Beaver says, setting a plate down in front of Lucy. "But there is hope dear." She says. Mr. Beaver chokes on whatever he's drinking. "Oh, there's a lot more than hope. Aslan is on the move." He says. Who's Aslan? Why does that name sound hope filled?
"Who's Aslan?" Edmund asks. Mr. Beaver laughs at him before realizing we don't know who he is. "You really don't know do ya?" He asks us. "Well, we haven't exactly been here that long." Jesabell says.
"Well he's only the King of the whole wood, the top geezer, the real King of Narnia. You're bloomin' jokin', they don't even know about the prophesy." Mr. Beaver yells. "Well then..." Mrs. Beaver waves.
"Look Aslan's return, Tumnus' arrest. It's all happening because of you!" Mr. Beaver says. "You're blaming us?" I ask. "No, not blaming, thanking you." Mrs. Beaver hurriedly says, giving us a warm smile.
"There's a prophesy. When Adam's Flash and Adam's Bone sit in Cair Paravel in throne, the evil times will be over and done-" Mr. Beaver goes to continue when Susan cuts him off. "You know that doesn't really rhyme." She says. "You're missing the point!" Mr. Beaver yells.
"It has long been foretold that two sons of Adam and two daughters of Eve along with six powerful Guardians will come and restore peace to Narnia." Mrs. Beaver says. "And you think we're the ones?" I asks.
"Well you better be, cause Aslan's already figured out your army." Mr. Beaver says. "Our army?" Lucy asks. "Our mums sent us away so we wouldn't get caught up in a war." Susan says. "Look, I think you've made a mistake, we're not heroes." Peter says.
"Yes, we're from Finchley." Jesabell agrees. "Look, thank you so much for your hospitality, but we really must go." Isabell says. "You can't just leave." Mr. Beaver says. "He's right. We have to help Mr. Tumnus." Lucy says. "It's out of our hands Lu." Peter says. I look to Mr. and Mrs. Beaver.
"I'm sorry, but it's time the ten of us were getting home. Come on Meg, Ed." I say, but when we turn around the youngest Pevensie boy and my little sister are missing. "Megan, Edmund?" Isabell asks. "I'm gonna kill him." Peter says.
"You may not have to, has Edmund or Megan ever been to Narnia before?" Mr. Beaver asks. "Well, Megan came with me once. Edmund came as well, but we didn't see him till we were leaving." Lucy says. "I think he met the Witch and turned Tumnus in without knowing it.
I saw him looking in the Witch's castle direction." Mr. Beaver says. All of our eyes widen. "Isabell, Jesabell, Ember, Lucy, stay here, we'll be back soon." I say and follow, Susan, Peter, and Sadie out the door. We run until we reach a hill right before a castle made of ice entirely.
"EDMUND! MEAGN!" Sadie yells. "Shhh!" Mr. Beaver chides. Peter runs forward, but Mr. Beaver stops him. "Get off me!" Peter yells. "You're playing into their hands." Mr. Beaver tells us. "We can't just let them go." Susan yells. "He's their brother and she's my twin sister." Sadie says.
"Their the bait, the Witch wants all six of ya." He says. "Why?" I ask. "To stop the prophesy from coming true. To kill ya!" Mr. Beaver yells. We see the door close. "This is all your fault." Susan tells Peter. "My fault?" He asks.
"Non of this would have happened if you would have just listened to me in the first place." Susan says. "So you knew this would happen?" Peter asks. "I don't know what would happen, which is why we should have left while we still COULD!" She yells. "STOP IT!" I yell.
"This isn't going to help Edmund or Megan." Sadie says. "She's right, only Aslan can help your siblings now." Mr. Beaver says. "Then take us to him." Peter says. We run back to the dam in fear the Secret Police is following us. We run into he dam. "Hurry, their after us." Mr. Beaver says.
"Right." Mrs. Beaver says, starting to pack things up. All of us girls begin to help. "Do you think we'll need jam?" Susan asks. "Only if the Witch serves toast." Peter says sarcastically. Finally everything is packed up and Mr. Beaver opens up a secret door and we all go into the tunnel.
We start running until Lucy falls. We hear howling. "They're in the tunnel." Lucy says. We help her up and continue running. We soon come to a dead end. "You should have brought a map." Mrs. Beaver cries.
"There wasn't any room next to the jam." Mr. Beaver says, jumping up through the hole above us. We are all soon helped out of the tunnel and Peter shoves a barrel in front of the exit so the wolves will have a harder time getting out.
There are statues all around us and from what I can tell from Mr. and Mrs. Beaver's crying, they used to be their friends. "This is what becomes of those who cross the Witch." A fox says from a roof. "You take one more step traitor and I'll chew you to splinters." Mr. Beaver says.
Mrs. Beaver is holding him back. "Relax, I'm one of the good guys." He says, jumping from the roof. "Yeah? Well you look an awful lot like one of the bad ones." Mr. Beaver says. "Unfortunate family resemblance, but we can argue breeding later, right now we've got to move." He says.
"What did you have in mind?" Isabell asks. He tells us all to climb up a tree and we follow his order. The wolves burst from the tunnel. "Greetings gents. Lost something have we?" The fox asks.
"Don't patronize me. I know where your allegiance lies. We're looking for some humans." The head wolf says. The fox chuckles. "Humans, here in Narnia? That's a vital bit of information isn't it?" The fox asks.
A wolf jumps forward and bits the fox round the middle. Lucy gasps, but Peter covers it up. "You reward is your life, it's not much. But still where are the fugitives?" The lead wolf asks. Oh no.
