7. Second Task: Recover What They Took

(Your POV)
I woke up without Lauren next to me and I sighed and saw a note. Y/N, baby, I'm sorry you didn't wake up next to me but McGonagall wanted to see me early in the morning, btw I have food for you in the microwave and I love you and good luck baby ;3 btw don't forget to cover up the love marks I made on you last night. ;) -Lauren (a.k.a. Daddy ;P) I rolled my eyes and giggled at the last part. I got dressed and headed to school where the second task would start, I'd have to fight mermaids to get one of my friends back. I saw the girls and my siblings and Hannah, but not Lauren still. I have to save Lauren. I'd have to go against a mermaid but more always show up. I was allowed to dive into the lake and I had used a bubble-head charm so I could breathe. I found Lauren and broke the chain that was keeping her underwater. I saw a mermaid and she had a spear and screeched. I used the apparate spell and teleported us to the top of the lake and Camila and Dinah lifted Lauren up and I got up and felt a mermaid on my leg. It started to bite my leg with her razor sharp teeth and I hissed in pain and kicked her head and she let go and swam off. I healed and got up on the deck and dried off. Lauren came to and she looked at me and I smiled. Lauren was given a towel and I looked at McGonagall who smiled. Krum and Victoire soon came up with their friends and tonight was the Yule Ball but I'd already decided I wouldn't go. Besides, Lauren and I have a date with Bellatrix.

I was at Knockturn Alley and Lauren had the cloak and I had my wand and stone with me. I saw Bellatrix and she smiled as she walked over to me. "Is this cat yours?" Bellatrix asked as she held a cat. The cat meowed at me and I noticed McGonagall's eyes. "Yes, it is, she always manages to sneak away and she always comes back late at night," I said and she nodded and put her down. McGonagall stayed next to me and Bellatrix took me to an abandoned warehouse and I had my wand in my hand and pointed it at Bellatrix. "Sectumsempra!" I said and Bellatrix fell back with cuts appearing on her. I smirked and walked over to her and wrote "death follows me" on her arm. Bellatrix screamed out in pain and cried. "Now you know the feeling, good. Shall I torture you more or kill you?" I asked. McGonagall shifted out of her cat form and Lauren took off the cloak and McGonagall decided Azkaban would be the best place for Bellatrix, but in the dungeon of Azkaban. I'd rather send her to the depths of Hell but I can't make that happen yet. Lauren and I were hanging out with the girls, my siblings and Hannah. I felt something splash on my head and I saw my two brothers on their brooms with water balloons in their hands and I gasped. "You two are dead when I get you!" I said and they laughed and flew off. I took off on Zeus and chased after them. I pushed them down into the lake near Hagrid's house and I laughed. I had Zeus running after me and Camila jumped on me and I screamed and she laughed. I pouted and she got off me and giggled. "Y/N/N don't pout!" Camila said and I still pouted. Lauren walked over to me and kissed me. I smiled and she kissed my forehead. Hannah and Lorcan were talking and I smiled while looking at them. I know he likes her from the way he looks at her. "Why didn't you go to the Yule Ball?" Dinah asked. "I went out with Lauren," I said and they awwed. "Goals!" Ally said and I blushed. "Y/N...what is that?" Teddy asked and I realized the makeup I put on to hide the hickeys from Lauren were smudged when the water hit them and Zeus had grabbed me. "Nothing," I lied and he narrowed his eyes at me. Lysander walked over to me and rubbed the makeup off. "Y/N, I'm ashamed," Lysander joked and I pushed his shoulder. "Don't be an ass Ly," I said and he chuckled. "Ugh, I have to go talk to Malfoy I forgot," I said and sighed. "Since when did you two start talking?" Normani asked. "Last night, but it was when I was having a breakdown, so I'll be back," I said and they nodded and I left to go find Malfoy. I found Jennifer and she smiled at me. "Hey," Jennifer said. "Hi," I said and she looked at me. "Y/N, I'm heading home I'll meet you there right?" Lauren asked. Yup. "So what did you want t-," I was cut off when Jennifer kissed me and I pushed her back after a few seconds. "I don't like you like that Jennifer, I love someone else," I said and walked off. I walked to Lauren's house and she looked at me and she looked angry. "Lauren? Is something wrong?" I asked. "Why is Malfoy's scent on your lips?" Lauren asked angrily. I'm screwed, she's not gonna believe me. "She wanted to discuss the crush she has on me and then as I was going to ask her she kissed me but I pushed her away and told her I didn't like her that I love someone else," I said and Lauren nodded and sighed through her nose. Next thing I know is I feel a stinging sensation on my cheek and I see Lauren's arm cross her body. She...slapped me. "Baby, I'm sorry, I didn't mean it," Lauren said and I shook my head and left with tears on my face. I left and went to some nearby tavern. I knew the owner and he let me drink alcohol when he saw the pain in my eyes. I started drinking shot after shot after shot. I sighed and he looked at me. "What's wrong?" Matt asked I sighed and shook my head. "My girlfriend, she's a vampire and she got angry at me I think, but... she... hit me," I said and he nodded. "You're cheek, it's bruised. C'mere," Matt said and I sat on the counter and he grabbed some ice and put it in a bag. Matt then put the ice on my cheek. I winced and softly whimpered at the ice touching my cheek. "The ice should slow down the bruising and swelling," Matt said and I nodded. "Matt," I said and he looked at me. "Thank you," I said and he nodded. Someone walked in but I could care less and played with my shirt. "All right you're being too gloomy, shirt on or off?" Matt asked and I giggled. "Hmm, off," I said and he chuckled and I held the bag of ice as he took his shirt off. "You got tattoos?" I asked and he nodded. "I want tattoos!" I pouted and he chuckled. "Y/N," I heard Lauren and tensed up. I turned around and saw her, she was bruised, cut up and bleeding. "Lauren, what happened?" I asked and grabbed a rag that Matt handed me. I started to wipe her blood off her and she winced. "I got angry at myself for how I let myself slip away earlier so I went and punched some random animal in the forest," Lauren said and I shook my head. Lauren looked at my cheek and sighed, lightly touching my cheek. "I'm such a fucking dumbass," Lauren said and I shook my head. "You don't have control over your emotions. Lauren, what matters is that we work together through our problems together," I said and she nodded. I kissed her forehead and we headed back to her place.
