2. Date Night Stargazers

*next morning*
I woke up and remembered last night, one: Lauren is taking me on a date tonight, and two: I shifted into a cat after much practice. I got up and since today we had no school, I'd decided to hang out with Dinah, Ally, Normani and Camila and probably get them to meet my sister and brothers. I had changed into a black laced bra, a white and black striped crop top, black skinnys, a denim jacket, black boots, a black beanie with the yin yang symbol on it and some black round shades. I walked out of my dorm and went to the nearby meadow to look at what nature had to offer. "Y/N!" I heard and saw Ally, I got up and she ran and hugged me. "Hey Allz," I said, hugging her and she smiled. She stood next to me and Camila ran and koala hugged me. "Y/N/N!!" Camila squealed and I chuckled and caught her. "Camz!!" I said back and she giggled and I set her down and she smiled and kissed my nose. I scrunched my face and giggled and she aww'd. "Hey dawg," Dinah said and I hugged her. "Hi Finah Dinah," I said and she smiled. "I want you girls to meet my brothers and sister," I said and they nodded and we walked to my brothers and sister. "Albus, James, Lily, Teddy! C'mere!" I said and they walked over to me. "Girls, these are my brothers and sister. Albus, James, and Lily, and Teddy is our brother but not by blood," I said and they nodded. "Hi! I'm Camila!" Camila said. "Hey, I'm Ally!" Ally said. "Hi, I'm Normani," Normani said. "Sup? I'm Dinah-Jane," Dinah said. (A/N: who remembers this? ;-;..T-T.) "Albus," Albus said and shook their hands. "James," James said and shook their hands and Lily and Teddy did the same. "Y/N I say we have a duel," Teddy said and I chuckled. "Edward, you really want to duel me? Okay," I said and lead them away from the school grounds. We walked to the front of the 'line' and bowed then walked back a couple feet and face each other. "Wands at the ready," Lily said and we drew our wands. "Begin," Lily said. "Incendio!" Teddy said and fire was shot at me almost like being shot from a flamethrower. "Aguamenti!" I said and water formed and the fire disappeared in the water. "Stupify!" Teddy said. "Ennervate!" I said and countered the Stupify spell. Teddy and I had started shooting at each other without casting spells. I had deflected them and he chuckled. "Incendio!" Teddy said and I was quick enough to create a barrier. Some of the professors had seen us and walked over to us. Teddy and I shot at the same time and it created a spark that was connected for a few seconds then shot out a bolt of lightning up in the air. "Expelliarmus!" I said and caught Teddy off guard and his wand went flying out of his hand. "The winner of this duel is Y/N," Lily said and I had bowed and Teddy did the same. "Impressive job Teddy, just make sure you keep your guard up and let nothing distract you. Focus on your opponent's moves and spells," I said and he nodded. "Who's next?" I asked. "I'll have a go," I heard and saw Professor Jauregui. "Tsk. Unfair, you're a professor. But, then again, life is unfair so who am I to complain?" I said and she chuckled. "Wands at the ready," Lily said and we bowed and walked back a few feet and turned to face each other. "Begin," Lily said and I stared at Lauren, she was getting lost in my stare so I decided to take advantage of it. "Incendio!" I said and she managed to break out of the trance I put her in and made a barrier. I chuckled and then said, "Expelliarmus!" Lauren blocked it and shot at me which I deflected. "Sempra!" I said and Lauren dodged it. Calm down, Y/N. Calm down and collect yourself, she's on the defensive side so I can waste energy. Lauren looked at me and I sent her an unnoticed wink. She looked confused. "Expelliarmus," I whispered and her wand went flying out of her hand. "Accio!" I said and her wand went flying to my hand and I caught it. "Missing something Professor?" I asked jokingly and she chuckled and held out her hand. I gave her a high five. "Y/N," Lauren said and I chuckled. The professors and my brothers, sister and friends had left in case I'd get in trouble, pussies. "Lauren," I mocked and she chuckled and shook her head. "It's your fault," I said and she shook her head. "It's your fault for being so beautiful," Lauren said and I blushed. She grabbed her wand out of my hand and I whined. "Babe give it back!" I slipped and blushed. "Y/N/N c'mon," Camila said and I sighed. "Call me that again," Lauren husked. "Later, babe," I said and she smiled and I ran off to Camila who koala hugged me again and I chuckled. Camila got off me and kissed my nose then my cheek, making me blush a light pink color. Camila took my hand and ran, with me being pulled along, to the girls.
(Lauren's POV)
I saw that Camila girl koala hug Y/N and then she had the fucking audacity to kiss her nose and cheek. That's my girl, no one else's, but mine. What the hell am I thinking? I can't fall for her. She took Y/N's hand and ran off to catch up with the other girls. "I see the way you look at her," I heard McGonagall and I jumped and faced her. "If she's the one you want to mark, I won't separate you two," McGonagall said and I smiled and nodded. "Thank you Headmaster," I said and she chuckled and nodded then walked off.
(Your POV)
The girls and I had lunch and I had told them I had something to work on so they understood. I had disappeared to the secret music room Hogwarts has and went to it and found my guitar. I took my guitar out and made sure it was tuned. I had started strumming chords and composing a song. I hummed some lyrics and wrote them down. "Know you better, know you better, I just wanna know you better, know you better," I sang and wrote the words down. "You've a lovely voice," I heard Lauren and jumped. "Jesus, Lauren you scared me. I thought I was the only one who knew about this place," I said and she shook her head and smiled. "Whatchya writing?" Lauren asked. "A song, I'll sing it for you, if you want. Or it can be a surprise for tonight," I said and she thought for a few seconds. "Well do you have a song that you wrote but not as a surprise for later tonight?" Lauren asked and I nodded. I started strumming the chords and I closed my eyes and started to sing.
