The sun peaked through the translucent blinds, a blinding light had interrupted the young mans sleep. The lines on his forehead winkled up as he groggily groaned and tried to pull the duvet up and over his eyes to shield him from the sun.
" You've never been a morning person." Ash jokingly announced fully awake, sat upwards onto the bed next to Ciel. In response still half awake and half asleep just groaned again, he shifted his body towards his lover on the bed and placed his arms around Ash's waist as he began to try and fall back asleep. " As much as I would love to say an cuddle, I got to be ready for work in a hour." Ash lighted brushed through Ciel's black hair with his fingers. Ash loved this feelings, he really meant that he hates to leave his boyfriend alone. Not just for the mere fact that he misses him but also because he is scared of what he might do to himself. Ciel yawned loudly an began to sit up, his eyes still refusing to open. The light from the window could still be seen even through his eyelids he was dreading the blinding light soon to come.
His willpower gave in an finally opened his eyes, there was that blinding light but his eyes quickly adjusted. Ciel threw his legs on the side of the bed, he looked at his clock he kept by his bed side.
7:55 am
He proceeded to go about with his day like he normally would. The apartment that he and Ash shared was relatively big, Ciel doesn't feel like so much after a burden after he started contributing to the rent. He had always wondered to himself why exactly Ash had any need for an 2 bedroom flat to himself. He lived alone until he asked Ciel to move in with him, then again his family name is practically written in gold, Ash would always tell him that he didn't need Ciel's money and he was free to do anything with it. Ciel was persistent enough to contribute his half every month.
After high school Ciel realized he had a interest in journalism, spending time in a ward gave him time to think of what to write. He had an website that he starting after the passing of his boyfriend to try and advocate for teen suicide. Just wanting to share his story to help others turned into a viral outlet for millions of people worldwide, sympathizing with his story. It just kinda took off, Ciel realized how much his voice had a difference in lives and what he could do. He continued the sites an now works full time on writing for it, other websites about his experiences and giving feedback to people who need it.
Walking through the flat always tend to hurt Ciel's eyes, everything was a clean white. He would never understand Ash's obsession with the color, the black marble in the kitchen and the oak floors throughout the place really was the only things that made it pop out. He didn't have much room to complain, he tended not to. When Ciel walked into the kitchen he found that Ash had already left work and left a note on the fridge like he did every morning.
" Call me for anything, have a good day. love you :) "
Ciel smiled softly, what did he do to deserve him honestly. He knew the only reason he left the notes was because he didn't trust Ciel to really be alone but it still made him feel loved. The shelf next to the fridge had some chocolate breakfast bars that he would eat in the morning while he grabbed his MacBook and went to work. Working from home definitely had its benefits, life was ok. For once Ciel somewhat feel as if he could relax and not for guilty for him being alive.
...
" What do you mean there's been a breach?" The man folded his elbows on to the table, squinting coldly at the two men in front of his desk.
" Sir, we don't know how this happened. According to the 97B files this shouldn't have even been possible" A man dressed in black reported, his glasses flared as the light hit them.
" What kinda thing could have crawled out of the seal?" The other man added has sweat began to form onto his temples. He slightly shifted in his chair, looking slightly worried at the man at the end of the table.
" How badly is the seal broken, will?" He scoffed
" There is a minor crack in the seal, however the other demons with no doubt will notice this soon. When they do the seal will have no chance an break entirely." Will pushed up his glasses.
" This is just fucking great, what the fuck are we gonna do now Vincent? Even if we do call the Council it will be at least two days before we can all arrive!" The man started to ramble, has he stood up front his chair.
" Grell, calm your self please. We will take care of this. We have to locate the demon first an I will have monks bless the seal in the mean time, so it doesn't disintegrate even more." Vincent said calmly leaning back into his chair.
" What happens if we don't find it?" the man, angrily added.
" The seal still must be closed. "
" Precisely will, if we do not find this demon before then we will just have to locate an....exercise it ourselves." Vincent slyly smiled
