chapter 6

Annabeth understood why percy disliked her, she was ruining there family holiday.

The rest of the family were being rather nice due to her resent injury, and she really appreciated that they had taken her in.

But Percy, Percy really didnt like her. She knew that she was invading but this wasnt exactly what she had planned either so he didnt need to be such a jerk.

Percy was packing his stuff when she woke up,

"Mornin'" annabeth said as she streched

"Good morning" he mumbled back
"Sleep well?" He asked

"Yup, you?" She answered

He only nodded. She wanted to get along with him as she was going to be travelling with them for a while, but he wasnt making it easy.

"Listen Percy, i know it cant be easy for you having me along but-" she started.

"- shove it annabeth im not in the mood for a lecture about how we should at least try to get along so dont even bother" he pratically shouted then stormed out

"Sorry" she muttered under her breath. This was going to be harder than she thought.

"All ready to go?" Sally asked once they were back in the car.

Everyone nodded along. They were heading to Washington where they would spend a few days. Annabeth had been to Washington a few times with her dad before but hadnt been in a while so she was excited.

Percy fell asleep during the car ride and annabeth didnt blame him as she had taken his bed for the night.

Once they stopped for lunch annabeth told the Jacksons/Blofis's to get whatever they wanted on her as a thank you for allowing her to come along.

Percy seemed to apreciate the effort. It would take a while but annabeth reckoned she could get them on better terms.
