ANUSHKA

"Hello, I need to see Virat Kohli." I said the moment I looked at the girl sitting on the reception desk.

I was already late because of my step mother's nosiness. And now here I was, waiting in front of this stupid receptionist who had no dressing sense what so ever.

"Do you have an appointment?" She questioned. I groaned.

"Well, we met on brunch yesterday and he told me to come to his office tomorrow." I informed. She chuckled as if not believing me.

"I'm sorry, miss. But you can't go in without an appointment." I couldn't believe she had the nerve to say this to me.

I took a deep breath.

"Excuse me? Why don't you call him and ask him yourself?"

"Sir's in a meeting." She made an excuse again. Virat had told me that he was going to be free during this time so I knew she was lying her ass off.

"Don't give me that crap, I'm going in whether you like it or not."

"I'll call the guards." She threatened. Oh, the audacity. She managed to piss the wrong person off.

"Do you know who I am? I can get your ass fired in less than a minute."

"Are you threatening me, miss?" She cocked an eyebrow but I could detect the fear in her tone. She looked at me, taking in my clothing as if it was going to tell her what was about to happen.

"No, I'm warning you. Now tell me where his office is."

"Fifth floor, to the right." She finally said.

"Good girl."

I smirked and entered the elevator.

Virat Kohli.
CEO Kohli Incorporations.

I knocked on the door twice and then entered the office.

There he was.

Virat Kohli.

He was dressed in a complete businessman attire. White shirt with a black waistcoat.

He was leaning against the glass window. His eyes analyzing me from my head to toe. I dared to look him in the eyes and quickly looked away again, his eyes did something to me, they made me feel some weird way.

He was talking to someone on the phone and staring at me at the same time. He finally put the phone away and sat on his chair. I crossed my arms, still standing up.

"You haven't started your internship yet and have already threatened two of my employees."

He finally said and I realised that his receptionist had complained about me to him. Way to make an impression!

"It's not my fault your employees are so not cooperative." I responded in the same tone.

"Have a seat, Anushka." I sat.

I provided him with my CV. Even though I was a lazy person in general, my CV contained alot of things that could easily impress someone.

"Impressive but I want to know more about you." He didn't really seem impressed.

I, in a confused state looked at him.

"Me? What about me?" I pondered out loud.

"What are your interests? Your passion? Why do you think I should give you this opportunity?"
