Caoimhe's POV

It was already late when Blake decided to check his phone, he got like 30 messages from his family, from the school, George & some his friends combined. He said most of them are from his family asking where he is and they're worried. The school also asked him where he was because Annie's mam went to the principal and basically screamed at him asking who did it to her daughter. I didn't know how or why some say it was Blake's fault when it was clearly mine. Let's just hope Blake didn't save my ass or else everything is gonna be fucked, his family is gonna kill him for sure, his reputation will be ruined and alot of bad things will surely happen next.

Blake suggested me to check my phone too but when I checked it, I only had 11 messages and most of them are from Zel & George. My brother Paddy only sent 2 messages saying I need to go home and I need to stop being so stupid. The school also sent me a message asking me the same thing they asked Blake. They literally just changed Mr. Richardson to Ms. Marsh.

"Seems like the plan didn't work" he sighed "Plan?" I asked "I told them not to say a word and if they do they should say it was my fault and not yours" There is it, he was trying to save my ass. "Blake, no, please don't" I said "I got this okay, You don't have to be worried" He said reassuringly "Your reputation is gonna be ruined, your family is gonna hate you" I said worried "Just please just calm down okay, I got this, I know Annie's mum, I will talk to her" he said and I thought, yes, he's right, he does know Annie's mum.

After a few minutes, we somehow ended up in a playground. Blake was so happy when he played on the slides "Blake, you're so tall" I laughed as I saw him slide once more with his very tall skinny legs "Join me!" he said so I did, I climbed up first and he followed me, As I sat down ready to slide, he started saying something "We should slide together" he suggested "What? how?" I asked laughing. He then placed his arms around my stomach and basically hugged me from the back "Blake this is dangerous, What if we fall off?!" I said and he just laughed "Me and my sister used to this when we were kids!" He exclaimed "Yeah but that's the thing! You were both kids that time which means you were still small, I mean look at us, You're already 6 ft while im like 5'4 " I said laughing again "Are you ready?" he asked "I didn't even said ye-" before I could continue, Blake is already sliding with his hands still hugging me from my stomach. "WTFF!!" I screamed out loud while Blake also screamed in a girly voice which is really funny.

As our butts finally arrived at the lowest point, We were both laughing "That was so scary wtf Blake I swear to god, I am never gonna do that thing again" I said "But come on Caoimhe, you can't deny the fact that it was fun" he said "Yeah it is indeed fun" I laughed "Hey! Swings!" he pointed at the 2 swings right infront of us, He then ran towards it and started swinging. I also ran and sat on the other swing and ofcourse, started swinging too

"I just realized that I havent been on playgrounds ever since I was like 7" I said "Same, I missed being a child to be honest" he replied "But you're still a child" I joked and he just smiled.

"Seriously though Blake, why did you have to make people think you did it to Annie?" I asked "Because it was my fault.. I knew already she'd react that way if I break up with her and I still did it" he sighed "But smacking the shit out of Annie wasn't your fault" I looked down at my feet as I continued swinging very slowly. "Caoimhe, you might think it's partly your fault but even if it is, you aren't alone in this, If you wanted a real answer then here it is.." he stopped "I- You're my friend Caoimhe" he stuttered "That's what friends does right? Saving each others asses" he nervously laughed

I wonder what was he trying to say. If I'm being honest, the more I talk with Blake, the more I realize that I like him more than just a friend. Right now, I just want to scream at him and ask him to move on from Annie but you can't just easily move on from someone right? It's much harder on Blake's part since He and Annie used to be childhood friends which means its really hard for him to just forget.

"Yes ofcourse" I smiled at him

We stayed in silence til I started gritting my teeth due to the cold ass weather. "You look cold" he said "Yeah I am.. We should just go home" I said as I wore my school blazer.

Blake stood up from the swing and wore his blazer too. He then offered his hand on mine and I took it.

We then saw his bike laying on the ground and we rode on our way to my flat.
