Chapter 9

Hook's POV

We all meet up at Regina's vault late that night. Apparently Henry and Pan switched bodies. Their majesty's, Henry, Baelfire, and Rumplestiltskin and walk up a little late. I wonder if the lad know's about Emma yet. "Did you find the shadow yet?" The prince asks. "Not yet." Tinkerbell answers. "Well we'll be ready when we do." I say holding up the coconut halves we used to trap the bloody thing the first time. "I think it's Pan we should be concerned about. Why are we still up here?" Rumplestiltskin interjects. "It's locked up tight." Tinkerbell answers. "Really?" He says and tries to use magic to open the vault. Which doesn't work. "Told you." I say. "Fair enough. This is going to take a while." He begins working again as I walk off to the side. Bae follows, which I was not expecting. "Hook, you okay?" I sigh. "No Bae I'm not. Not only is Henry in danger but Emma left and isn't here to save him. Speaking of Emma, does the lad know?" "Know what?" Henry says. I turn around and Bae steps forward. "That'd be a no." He says. "What? What do I not know? What's wrong?" Henry asks. "Henry I-your mother, she..." I notice Bae's struggling. I sigh. "Henry, lad, your mother went on a trip." "A trip? What kind of trip? When will she be back?" "We don't know." Neal interjects. "So she left. Without even saying goodbye." He looks down with sad eyes. "It's going to be alright lad. Once Pan is gone we will go and get her back." "But why did she leave? Doesn't she love me?" "Of course she does," Bae says. "I think me and Hook just put a little too much pressure on her and she needed to get away for awhile." "What kind of pressure?" He asks. I see so much of Emma in Henry, like all the questions, even when he's trapped in Pan's body. Bae looks at me unsure of what to say. I decide to go with the safe approach. "You'll understand when your older lad" I say right when Rumple opens the door. Luckily he drops the conversation and just nods. "Shall we?" Rumple says. Me and their majesty's go down to make sure everything's safe. When we get down there Snow sees Regina passed out on the floor. "Regina!" She rushes to her. David checks the other room and comes back. "Pans gone." He says and goes over to Snow. "We're clear down here!" I yell to everyone else up stairs. Rumple comes down and lifts whatever type of magic that made Regina pass out. "What? What happened?" She asks. "It's Henry," I answer. "Somehow Pan switched bodies with him." "And I fell for it." She says disappointed. "We all did." Snow comforts. "I wanted to believe what he was saying so badly I missed all the signs. I just wanted to believe he still needed me as a mother." Henry came down right then. "I still do." He says. "Henry?" Regina says relieved. She goes up and hugs him. "So what exactly did Pan come down here to take?" David asks. Rumple and Regina look around until he stops at an open box. "Please tell me you didn't keep it down here." He says. I start to become more worried. As I'm sure everyone did. "Where else would I keep it?" Regina says. "What is it? What did bloody demon take?"

Neal's POV

We all head out of Regina's vault. Gold tells us what he took. "A curse?" I ask. He nods. "Why would Pan even want the curse? I already cast it." Regina says. "And Emma broke it." I see Henry look down with sadness in his eyes when Hook said that. Nice going Hook. "Well that doesn't mean you can't cast it again. And this time without Snow White and Prince Charming's true love woven in even Emma would be powerless to break it." He says. Oh man oh man oh man this is bad. Emma's gone, Henry and Pan switched bodies, and Pan is casting a curse. Great just great. "I don't understand," David says. "We're already in this land." "What exactly would casting the curse in StoryBrooke do now?" Mary Margret asks. "Everyone will forget who they are. Time will stand still. And Pan will be in charge of this whole place." Gold says. "So this," I say. "This, StoryBrooke will be the new Neverland."
