————————————————————It was a quiet day in the workshop, everyone was working on cartoons that needed to be aired for the following week. With Bendy being an over dramatic demon as usual, Alice having to put up with Bendy's tricks and still managing that beautiful figure, and Boris practicing his clarinet for a future cartoon. Even though it seemed quiet, there was stress forming through all the people and toons in the building. The pressure to compete and be better was always on the studio's shoulders. Bendy and Alice have always shown emotion and a sense of individualism. It was always said that Boris was the ball of sunshine and could always bring a smile to someone's face, even if it was a simple pat on the back or hug. Unknowingly, Boris held a sadness greater than all combined. His silence was his curse. Being unable to communicate like the others put his confidence at an all time low. He might have not been able to say anything, but you can read by his very few facial expressions that he is upset. No one bothered to talk to the wolf, even when distress is present on his face. Though there was a toon that could read Boris' sadness.
Time Skip
Alone is his room, Boris played a simple tune on his clarinet. Joey had been really demanding today at rehearsal. He may be a human, but he could see steam coming out of his ears. Bendy pulled a prank earlier today and it caused a delay in the music department and a huge mess to go along with it. Which caused Wally to rant at Henry for having the toon go on a rampage. Henry started to yell back since he hasn't slept in 3 days in an animation marathon and the coffee maker broke down causing tables to be flipped over. Alice witnessed Henry's rage and managed to calm him down until Joey came waltzing in and stared Henry down until the two started bickering about work time and the amount of pay each worker received. Bendy ended up getting found out and one of his punishments was for him to be hit by a cartoon car in the cartoon and no more eating chocolate cake after recordings or before bed. Because of this, Bendy refused to cooperate at all which made everyone more stressed and upset. This made everything else delayed even more and when Boris tried to hug someone they yelled at him. He would also try to calm someone down by rubbing their back, but his hand would be slapped away for glared at. His efforts were for naught and it brought him down. The wolf started to cry silent tears and his face morphed into a frown. He may not be able to talk or create several expressions at once, but his intentions were clear.
Knock Knock
Boris' ears perked up at the sound of his door being rapped. A moment silence fell between him and the door.
"Boris, are you in there? It's me, Alice." The angel spoke in a soft voice, hoping to see the wolf that has been nothing but kind to her. The sound of the door knob rattling startled her since it was the only sound that came out from the room. Once the door is open, Alice can immediately tell something is wrong with the mute wolf. His eyes were fuller than usual and his ears were dropping down. Boris' posture was slacking and his face had changed into a small frown. Others might have not noticed it, maybe Bendy on occasion, and it was sad to see him like this. Stepping out of the way, Boris let Alice into his room so she wouldn't be standing in the hallway. Walking in Alice noticed that the room Boris has was very bare. There was a singular mirror that was 31" (length) by 19" (width). In the corner was a twin sized bed with a very thin blanket. Next to it was a banjo with some crumpled sheet music underneath. Across from the room was a single wooden chair with another pair of pale yellow overalls. Even though she wasn't human, she could feel a big temperature drop when she entered. There was mold on the walls and she could hear a dripping sound into a bucket somewhere. Alice realized that compared to her room, Boris was in the bottom of the status pyramid. Alice has a queen sized bed with fluffy blankets and pillows, and with her mirror came with make up and snacks. The same went for Bendy. Alice felt shame rise to her cheeks, Boris shouldn't have to live in these conditions! That wasn't the task at hand now, but she will bring it up to Joey later on. Turning to the wolf, Alice walked over to him with her arms out. Boris looked surprised but went in for the hug. After a couple minutes Alice let go and pet Boris' head.
"You're a good boy, you know that Boris." Alice said in a soft voice. She saw that his tail started to wag a little bit after the compliment. Giving a small smile, she rubbed his cheek with her thumb and continued. "You try so hard to make everyone happy, yet no one sees that you aren't. You are a good person, let no one tell you otherwise. You are a very good boy. You are good at playing the clarinet. Your skills on the banjo are incredible, I don't think I could play anything that was given to me." She gave a small chuckle and glanced down to Boris' tail, she saw it was wagging a lot faster than before and Boris had a much happier face than before. Giving another hug to him, she scratched his ears which made his foot bounce up and down. An hour later, Alice was leaving the room that had a sleeping Boris with a much thicker blanket and a smile on his face. Alice left the room in happiness, knowing she could comfort her friend.Later on it would be decided that Boris' room would be fixed up thanks to an anonymous letter.
