The mysteries of this world is endless. Nothing in this world is impossible. No matter what you possess, magic or an abnormal ability, they are gifts. They are what make each and every one of use different, each an individual.
My name is Carmen and I am 13 years old. I have just moved to the city Trump which is the most popular city in the world. In the city of Trump many different race of people gather together there but in the center of the city it consist mostly of people who possess abnormal abilities. These people are sorted into the category called Masters. There are 3 sorts of people in this world: one are Masters, another are magicians, and the last kinds are humans.
The difference between Masters and humans is the fact that humans do not possess neither abnormal abilities nor magic. They are simply humans. Masters on the other hand consist of abnormal abilities. They possess abnormal abilities that humans do not because they were born with it. The cells that construct their bodies are more complex than humans. However, magicians' magic are born into their souls, not their bodies.
I moved to the city Trump and transferred to the middle school called Hunters Art. This middle school is the most popular middle school in all of the city Trump. Every Masters wants to transfer to this school to be taught and walk the path of a Masters. However, this school does not just accepts Masters but they also accepts humans, talented ones.
I, for one, do not know which part of myself is talented. I am just a mere human who decided to come back to Trump, my childhood city. But, I guess I am lucky to be accepted into this school. So on the first day of school I went to Hunters Art's dormitory to sign into my room. My luggages were already sent to my room. Apparently, my room mate is a girl named Kelly and she was like me, we were both the same age.
I stepped into the room and saw that Kelly had already occupied her side of the room. She was unpacking her luggages and settling into the room. I said, "Hi, I'm your new room mate. My name is Carmen. Nice to meet you."
She turned around and introduced herself "Nice to meet you. My name is Kelly. I hope we will get along."
She seemed like a nice person and also she looked really pretty. She's skinny, has long light brown hair, and her eyes were the color green, green like a blade of grass. "Are you a Masters?" she asked as I begun to unpack my things.
"No, I'm just a normal human. You?" I said.
"Same here. Well, I guess you and I will get along pretty well, since you know, were the same sort of people." she said.
Before I could say anything else, the telephone rang. She went to pick up the phone and she listened to what they had to say."We need to go to the auditorium for the gathering in 30 minutes. We have to hurry and unpack if we want to relax tonight." I nodded my head in agreement to what she said.
Half an hour later Kelly and I arrived at the auditorium. We both settled down and waited for the announcement to begin. The principle of the school came out and spoke about how the school works, what our future was going to be, and so on. I have to admit that that was a boring announcement until the end. At the end of the announcement the principle said, "This year we will be going to the legendary beach called Spark. We will be doing investigations and maybe, just maybe, one of you who is sitting in this room right now might be able to unlock the hidden gem." Hidden GEM! I do remember the legend but it was fizzy in my mind. I couldn't recall how the riddle went or what the gem does. But everyone gasped as they heard what the principle said. I guess everyone is excited to find out for themselves if they were the special one, the chosen one.
My facial expression didn't show the slightest bit of excitement but deep down, deep down in my heart I felt a flicker of hope. Even though I know I'm just human and many people who are in this room right now are Masters, I felt like maybe, just maybe, there was a chance that I might be special in my own way. That the gem will be unlocked by me.
