Legendary Beach, Spark

9 months later...

During these 9 months, Kelly and I both studied hard in school. For some reasons everyone in our classes doesn't like to accept us. They ignore us as if we were different from them and they sometimes make these insults that hurt so much. Kelly and I have grown use to these insults. In the end, Kelly and I only had each other in school. We treated each other like sisters.

Just another ordinary Friday, Kelly and I both got ready for school. We left our room and went to the cafeteria to get breakfast. At the cafeteria we ate our breakfast and talked about the things that were going on in both the Masters' world and the magicians' world. As we talked about it we overheard some popular girls from our homeroom talk. "Today they're going to announce about the trip to that beach!" or "Do you know when they're going to announce that?" Then like they announced it in a microphone the whole cafeteria suddenly all started talking about it.

Kelly and I quickly rushed out of the cafeteria and slowly walked to our homeroom. "Are you going to go to that beach?" Kelly asked.

"Yeah, of course." I replied. "Why are you going?"

"Yeah, I want to go, too. I want to see what kind of investigation they're going to do at the beach. How about you? Why do you want to go? You sound so anxious to go but I can hear some sort of sadness in your voice."

"Well..." I said. I didn't know exactly how to tell her. I don't even know if I was ready to tell her.

"What is it? Why do you want to go?" she asked me again.

"Well, it's about my childhood. You see, back when I was really young I used to live in this city. I lived in the outskirts of Trump, near that beach. Even though I never exactly visited that beach, my mother and father took me to a forest that surrounded the north part of the beach. That forest is really big and my mother, my father, and I spend family time there. We shared many happy moments together in that forest. I guess I'm anxious to go to that beach because I want to go back to that forest and experience those moments again. Also, bring back those moments and feelings back again. And," I said pausing to take a deep breath to continue to tell her the story,"to visit my mother's and father's grave." I felt the tears. They were going to burst out any second. I used all my will to force myself not to cry. I have to be strong. I thought.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you think about those sad memories." Kelly said feeling sorry. I heard it in her voice, her regret.

"It's alright. I know you didn't mean to." I said. We reached the door that leads to our homeroom. We entered the room and we took our seats. The teacher took attendance and then made that announcement that that popular girl said in the cafeteria.

"As you all know, we will be going to the legendary beach, Spark. We decided we will be going on Monday and coming back on Friday. So you guys will have the remaining of today, Saturday, and Sunday to pack up for this trip. If anyone doesn't want to go, please come to me and tell me." the teacher announced. No one got up to tell her because everyone was so excited and eager to go.

After school ended that day, Kelly and I dropped our school bags in our room and grabbed our purses. We went to countless stores to get everything we needed for the trip. I got some tank tops, shorts, a few T-shirts, new flip-flop, and also a towel. We got back to our room late that night. I took a shower and then I collapsed onto the bed.

That night I had that same nightmare again. I dreamt of my mother and father dying. They died right before my eyes and I couldn't do anything about. How unless can I be? I wondered. I remember that day very vividly even though I try so hard to erase it from my memories, my memories of my parents dying. I remember, my parents took me into the forest as usually to have some family time together. That day my parents decided to go towards the edge of the forest where we could see the ocean to spend our family time together. Sadly it was the last time. My mother brought a basket of food and drinks for us that afternoon. My mother said she had a present for me. I was anxious and excited to see what it was that she and my father had prepared to give me.
