chapter 27~ Graduationing college

Sophie's POV

6 months later ...............

  .   

Today we are graduating from college, I'm just ready to move with my life as becoming a law enforcement officer in the great city of New York. I look over to see my brother Jamie talking to this one police officer. She look like she is in her 20's but I'm not that sure. Danny walk over to me as I gave him a hug . 

"Sophie I'm so proud of you little sis," Danny said to me 

I look over to see this other officer talking to Jamie, I wanted to walk over to my brother but I look up to see this shining glow on top of the roof of the building. That's when it hit me in the face it's a gun. 

"Jamie! Watch out !" I yelled

I took the cap and gown off before I took off running taward my brother, but at least I remember to put on the bullet prof vest on before I put the cap and gown on. Dad walk over with this one officer that I recognize from the police  explore , it was my   Avisored. 

"Hey Sophie so your going to be going on your last ride along as a police explore  before you are going to the police Academy," my advisor said. 

I heard my dads phone going off before fear struck on his face, I New it has to be something bad.

"Who am I going to be riding with?" I ask 

" Sophie you are going to be riding with crystal R," dad said 

"Okay," I said. 

I'm wandering about what the "R" stands for but I will find out when I get to the station. Danny whisper in my fathers ear as he walk off for some reason, I'm starting to get worry why isn't anyone telling me what's going on. Again my dad phone ring again. 

"Sweetheart I'm going to drop you off at the station where your going to be doing your  Final  ride along," dad said with worry on his face. 

I knew something wasn't right but I know that dad is going to be okay, I hope he is. When I arrived at the station I see this officer that has the same last name as me. I think it's  another Reagan family but knew that something wasn't right and why would dad be acting the why that he is. My father left to go somewhere. The officer smile as we head to her  cruiser  as we both got in, at the at the time I was in my police explore uniform for The last time. I just wonder why Danny haven't been coming around the house that much I really do miss him so much. I was pull out of my thoughts when she ask me something. 

"So, Sophie who is your father?" She ask me 

"Frank Reagan is my fathers," I answered with honesty to her questions, but she look at me like that can't be. 

"I don't think that's right," she said 

"It's right, ask him at family dinner tonight," I said 

She just look at me as we head to the hospital where Linda was killed at, I started to get in tears about her, I just miss her so much. She look at me before she walk over at my side of the car. 

"Hey Sophie what's wrong?" She ask me. 

"Couple of years ago at this same hospital Linda was shot and killed here," I said with tears in my eyes

"Sophie calm down your okay," she said to me before she gave me a hug. 

"Hey What is your name?" I ask 

"My name is Crystals Reagan," she said 

I look at her really confused and all because dad never told me that I have another sister. The only sister that I do know about is my sister Erin, I didn't know what to think what so ever. I wonder why dad haven't told me this at all and Danny has been gone for a while now.
